Tikkalicious

This is a hidden gem inside the grand ave food kitchens. First, their starters - we got the pepper chicken tikka - it is peppery but so moist and flavorful. Their chicken biryani is the best I've eaten outside India! And I've tried pretty much every other place in Portland. It almost beats the best biryanis in the Bay Area. It is authentic and really flavorful. I've only had it once, but I expect they're consistent. Get the medium spicy for the true experience. Service is quick, they're good on timing, the pickup area is neat and cozy, and the food is amazing. I'm going to be back to try other dishes soon.

Was unpleasantly surprised to see this was a DoorDash hub/dystopian robot spot. There was no human interaction. When ordering the screen forces you to tip 20% and I accidentally tipped that and there was no way to redact that. The samosas were super spicy! The food was good but the forced tip and Amazon locker box vibe was not the best. I wouldn't go back.

Food was pleasantly delicious. There were so much chicken in their biryani and in the tikki massla. I really enjoyed the food. The wait was long, and I was hungry. Overall, minus one start, b/c they were busy, and was not able to accurately give me a time- for when my food was ready. This is one of the kitchen in back, with lockers to pick up food. I would definitely return for food- if I'm in the area!

This review is a bit complicated as I wish I have a chance to try more of their food but, I just don't trust it to go back again.I order Mekhani/Butter (Lamb) to take home and eat when I was craving Indian food.I don't know why I switched it up from chicken to lamb but, that's not the main issue of my review.Butter chicken is NOT a spicy dish, it's not supposed to be spicy at all. I picked mild and it came out much spicier than any other Butter dish I've had in the US. Flavor seems decent but, it was too spicy for me to eat so there's that.Given that I ordered a not spicy dish specifically it's a bit disappointing to get it spicy.

It lives up to the name. Tikkalicious serves a very authentic and tasty paneer tikka masala, one of my favorites which says something because I'm usually really picky with it Their gobhi Manchurian is also delightful, light and flavorful. Spice for both was on a slightly milder side which I think works well. The garlic naan was well made too. They gave a generous quantity of rice and honestly, you could eat that by itself it was that good - their seasoned it perfectly It is a ghost kitchen but they have a few spots to sit down. This place was so good we ordered it again like 2 days later LOL 10/10

Ordered Makhani Chicken, Goat Curry, and Garlic Naan. The location is a very designed pickup spot and the order was ready Fast! Makhani had a really pleasant spice to i and chicken was fresh. The Goat curry was fantastic. I got a really nice bone full of delicious marrow. Very glad I tried this spot and will definitely be ordering from again!

Good place to grab a quick bite - FYI this place is takeout only! Food was super flavorful with lots of variety, also many vegetarian options :) My friend and I ordered the veggie korma and saag chana with a side of garlic naan, both delicious! My only concern is the lack of indoor seating, something I wish I knew ahead of time.

The food was amazing I will be eating here again. Maybe today! The cauliflower was out of this world by the way.

Part of Grand Ave Food -- so made in a ghost kitchen. Not sure who is making the food but I can say, the food is DELICIOUS! Make sure you order the food ahead of time on the website and go pick up -- there's no indoor dining option on site, though there is seating outside. Original Tandoori chicken 4.8/5Half chicken. Delicious seasonings. A little dry, but it's never not dry so I think it's normal. Really well done! Goat curry - 5/5 Yummy! So much flavor. Medium spicy was perfect amount of spicy for us; bordering too spicy but not crossing the fence. All the flavor without being a greasy mess. Chicken saag - 5/5Deliciously creamy. Definite spinach but is there cilantro in there? Something made it extra tasty. Never appreciated saag as much before this dish. Overall, really really delicious, flavorful Indian food in a sea of mediocre Indian food that's often too greasy, too salty, etc etc. We will definite be back to try more dishes!
