After driving by this place for years I finally got to try it. I did a to go lunch order and it was prepared quickly. The staff was very nice. Unfortunately the food was a bit disappointing. I did the chicken kabob plate which came with a single chicken skewer [you can add on a second one], rice, hummus and a cucumber yogurt salad that was more of a sauce. The chicken itself was delicious and the best part of the meal. It was tender and flavorful, I would definitely get the chicken again. But that's about where the goodness ended. The rice was a bit bland and nothing came with the hummus. I did add a side of pita though since I got the feeling I would need something to dip with. The pita was grilled which may have been nice if I dined in but it was hard and tough by the time I got back to my office to eat, it was more of a grilled flatbread rather than fluffy pita. The hummus and the yogurt cucumber salad were just okay.

I really liked the beef gyros. The meat was really juicy and pretty tender. The pita bread was just average though. I don't think it was freshly made. That's ok though, this isn't a fancy restaurant or anything. The kofta kebab was decent. I was hoping for some more spice and flavor from the meat but it wasn't bad.The guy behind the counter (owner?) was pretty cool too. I liked the vibe there. Very non-pretentious, straightforward, relaxed, blue collar type of feeling. It's in a nice, quiet part of town too.

I am uncertain about the quality of the food and coffee as I only purchased a few beverages and items due to having limited cash on hand. Unfortunately, the establishment was unable to provide me with change. It appears that they may have potential, especially since I will be working in the area and would have been a frequent customer. However, this initial encounter was disappointing. It is essential for all businesses to be equipped to accept the most widely used forms of payment.

This place has the best lamb gyros I have ever had in my life. Used to feel pretty indifferent about Mediterranean food until I realized I just never had good Mediterranean food. I did not believe lamb could be this tender. We ordered some for breakfast and made another trip before leaving Portland. They're also MUCH bigger than the Gyros I am used to.The staff was incredibly sweet. I'm definitely coming back when I visit the area.

Was back for lunch today 11/6. The special was a taco bowl. Quite a surprise for a. Middle Eastern place. It was very good with their small menu and everyday specials I could eat here everyday even though they are not in an easy place to get to their food is worth it. Food and service are great. While my first choice is a lamb gyro their specials are just as good if not better I wish this place would travel to my projects around the country. It's hard to find great food service and a welcoming atmosphere every where I travel to. I will be making this a go to place in Portland.

Food was great and Keto friendly. Service extremely friendly, casual. Reasonably priced, clean and I enjoyed the Sultan music. The smell was the first thing I encountered, EXTREMELY DELICIOUS! I will be returning, I felt very comfortable dining alone there. When I take a break from keto, first place I'm coming to try one of the pastries!

Good food, but a Lebanese will say it's Iraqi and a Iraqi will say it's Iranian while a American eats it as Mediterranean. Ethnic but far away from authentic. BUT- the food tasted good and a great spot for lunch or to-go dinner. The owner is friendly, welcoming while he pointed out that they also have General Tsao chicken. Lastly, this is exactly how Syrian or Iraqi cafe operates in the native lands. Hell ya, I'll go back again to get some good Habanero sauce on my saffron rice and roasted lamb.
