The Springs

This place is next to the Fred Meyer's. I come here pretty regularly. It's a small local bar with really good food.Today, my friend, and I stopped in for a cocktail and some lunch. They pour nice drinks here. The food is diner like with some really nice selections for dinner. Including steaks and prime rib. Call to make sure they have the prime rib.My Ruben was with homemade corn beef, Swiss, Sauerkraut & home made 1000. It was really good. It came with potato chips or fries. I chose chips today.My friend had a half of a breakfast plate. She said it was the perfect amount. A really good. We should make a chicken wings to start. They were crispy and nicely tender. This is a little hidden secret and well worth a stop The service is always really good and friendly.

"Where everybody know's your name... except for me. :-("I was looking to try a new place and was really hungry. I was cruising down the strip mall towards the Middle Eastern venue checking out the menus. After reading the menus I chose this place. The funny thing about their menu on the front door, is it doesn't have the name of the restaurant on it nor does the front door. So I bellied-up to the bar and here is how it went down...Bartender: "What would you like to drink?"Me: "Bloody Mary no salt".Bartender: "OK, would you like to see a menu?"Me: Nah, Mushroom Burger no onions, BTW, what's the name of this place?" LOLBartender: "The Springs"Me: "OK, thanks, good to know."My oh my, the mushroom burger was AWESOME!!! They really get a nice char on the patty and everything else was just fabulous. BTW, it's $9 and outside of fast food joints, burgers are averaging $11-$18 on average at restaurants. WAAAA COVID + INFLATION!This place has a hard core local following and everyone there knew each other and the bartender. However, it wasn't uncomfortable at all for an outsider and a minority. It was actually quite comfortable. I really liked this place, it's got a laid-back PNW vibe, the staff and patrons are cool and the cuisine is very well executed comfort food at a bargain price. The Bloody Mary was less than $7. I guess when everyone knows your name, nobody needs to know the name of your restaurant. ha ha Highly recommended.

I don't drink alcohol, but I eat. HahaThis place has excellent food at great prices. If you're looking for good food at a little more than fast food prices, this is your place. Staff has always been super friendly too, except on one occasion. (Very tall, big lady bar tender was rude as hell) other than dealing with her, I recommend this place highly!!!

My husband and I have been patrons at this restaurant for many years. In fact now we have a group of 6 to 8 that regularly dine with us.We mostly go for breakfast. It's not just the food but the staff is extremely friendly. Fast service & great prices. Cocktail prices are VERY reasonable. We highly recommend the springs as a breakfast venue. Classic breakfast meals served quickly and fabulous flavor.Just a nice down home place!

My husband and I love this spot for breakfast! The food and service is always spot on and everyone, including the patrons, are always welcoming. I recommend the stuffed hash browns and a Spanish coffee. This is quickly becoming our fav little neighborhood spot :)

I took my mom in for breakfast on 6/9/202 at about 9:30 amWhen we r seated ourselves ( which was fine).We order our breakfast with eggs wanting the eggs cooked over medium.We had to send the eggs back twice . In the mean time while we were waiting fir the eggs again the rest of our breakfast was getting cold.We then told the waitress to cancel the eggs because now the hashbrowns , toast and ham was cold.My coffee cup sat empty for almost 10 minutes before I was asked if I would like a refill.I will not recommend this place due to the food or service.

The food was horrible. Don't order anything but, possibly a burger. I had a ribeye steak which was ok but the baked potato looked and tasted like it was cooked two weeks ago and had a congealed mass of bacon in the middle. Inedible. Don't go there for the food.

I made this my favorite place due to quiet dining area, GREAT pours at fair prices. Love the half breakfast option. Women (only) servers/bartenders are older and skilled at their jobs. Don't have much interest in genuine connection with regulars. Once I was the only person in dining room, and the tv was BLARING the Jan 6 hearing, I was tired and just wanted a peaceful meal. I asked if it could be a little quieter. The b-tender was happy to. Only a minute later she came back to say the owner grabbed the remote and was turning it back up. Back to BLARING (I was across room.)Why the 3 tvs in the tiny bar couldn't do the trick, I don't know. Why I heard the bar patrons start laughing as she cranked it back up, I don't know. I don't believe they ever saw me. But what I will say, is that day, they lost the $100+ I spent a week, and I won't be back. Hope Owner enjoyed hearing our former pres get roasted at the hearing.

The Springs is a friendly neighborhood restaurant and bar with a community that reminds everyone of the TV show "Cheers." Having just moved to SE Vancouver in September, my boyfriend and I stumbled upon the Springs completely on accident after having pho next door one evening. Strong drinks, delicious bar food as well as full entree meals, and great staff. Ricardo is a fantastic cook, and Jenn C. is my favorite bartender. Make sure you go Tuesday-Saturday to receive the best service!
