The Love Shack

I've seen a lot of hype over this restaurant and since I had gone to G Love and loved it, I knew I wanted to check this place out as well! Came on a Sunday night at 5:15pm and was surprised that they had an open table for two inside still. We came without reserving a table but that is highly recommended. The place had a tropical vibe to it with fun and fruity drinks listed on the menu. The waiter came to us right away with complimentary Prosecco like what?! I felt like a queen haha! The Prosecco was actually really good and not too strong. I felt like the wait staff were kind of pressuring my friend and I to get cocktails but neither of us were in the mood for that. We did get to sample a small amount of what they have on their menu and everything was so good! My favorite was the brioche waffle. My least favorite was probably the flight of fries, only because everything else was so good and unique! Definitely coming back here again and recommend it to anyone!

We stopped in with friends for the first time at Love Shack following a day exploring. We hit the great bottle shop a few doors down, stopped in at 50 Licks and then chilled at the outdoor table and ordered a round of cocktails for four. Comfortable, relaxing and a well made cocktail allowed for downtime and chit chat. The staff was attentive and ensured we had what we needed.

Finally made it to The Love Shack where food is served on a traveling cart. A well designed matrix menu describing the possible selections. Dim sum style dining with heavy cocktail bar feels. We checked in to see if seats were available and was led to a cute outdoor space. After ordering and receiving our drinks, we were informed the cart service was indoors only. Whomp whomp. We made the best of our disappointment and ordered a couple dishes.As a local, I eat my fair share of oysters. The oysters at Love Shack blew my mind. Incredible flavors and the perfect size. The mini Chicago dog with accompanying mini pickled pepper martini was insanely fun and enjoyable. You have to order the pair! Our server was super cool and we had some fun conversations. Overall I'll be back soon with a reservation for an inside table.

The schtick here is the BINGO-style menu with food carts. They cart out 2 dishes listed on the menu at a time, describe them, and then you can get what you want from the cart. The strange thing is, they do not cart out enough of each dish for each table, so depending on the order in which the cart reaches your table, the dish may be gone. You do have the opportunity to specifically order any cart dish, but it felt like if they were going to take orders at the end of cart service for dishes you missed or wanted seconds of, why not just order in the first place? It is nice/helpful to see the actual food before making your decision. It take about an hour for all of the carts to come out. It was kind of fun, but also a bit annoying.Food was ok.Favorites were the Wonton fish taco, pickled onion rings, and Banana milk and cookie. Banana pancakes drink was also tasty.

Late night... triple date night with friends. Great company, drinks and nibbles. Superb very attentive service. The drinks were fun and tasty. The food was good and they have a late night happy hour menu that we stayed long enough to enjoy! Make reservations because this place gets busy.

LoveShack delivers an all-around fantastic experience. The bingo card menu makes for a fun experience and everything from the drinks to the snacks - all was on point. The cocktails were creative and perfectly balanced and the bite size snacks were packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, making it a great spot to hang out and unwind. Service was friendly and attentive, rounding out an unforgettable visit. It's the kind of place you'll want to come back to again and again for date night or with friends.

You don't have to love the B-52s to appreciate The Love Shack. I was grateful for the 9pm seating, understanding that there were no reservations after us. We were able to enjoy our time at a beautiful booth and were served by an exceptional waiter, Diego. We started out with cocktails, with options off the menu or from the carts that will roll around with absolutely adorable cocktails on the go. Grab one before they keep moving along, the servers will stop and stamp your card which keeps tally for your multiple small bites, small sips, and so much more. Starting with the ambiance, it's perfect. Small enough to feel intimate, yet it is bustling with satisfied customers and onlookers who hope to get a spot before the night is over. Nice lighting, booths, and a perfect outdoor setting for those who want to be outside. The bar is busy with the bartenders shaking and pouring drinks to the bar customers and for cart service. The servers are all amazing. Shout out to Quintin for welcoming us and checking in on us periodically. Kenzie was serving cocktails, adorable Miller High Life's, and other libations on her cart. Her personality and presence enticed me to grab a mini dirty martini while I waited for my Green Fuz, something that I normally would not do but I have no regrets as both were excellent. Andrew was running the carts and the creator of many of the items that we enjoyed which included: Wonton Fish Taco w/ Ahi Tuna~amazingCrab roll on a deep fried Bao Bun~ get thisMini Croissant Banh Mi~ don't miss it, but get 2, they are small and not shareable in my opinion Pickled onion rings~the best anywhereOysters on the half shell ~ we grabbed a dozen and could have had a dozen more. So fresh, so chilled, and so memorable. Brioche waffle with lox, fried capers, and dill~ AMAZINGMezze Platter: an array of fresh veggies and Mediterranean dipping sauces served with warm flatbread. Delicious. Snap Pea Skewers: off the menu offering. Crunchy, flavorful, and worth trying. Thank you Chef for your culinary talents and sharing them with the rest of us! Cocktails off the cart: Green Tea Shot: so tasty, so strong, so why not get another? Mini Tini: filthy dirty martini, just mini. Olives x3, perfectionMilk & Cookies: boozy banana milk and a white chocolate macadamia nut cookieGrab yourself a reservation and be ready to be wowed. Small bites are amazing and filling in their own right. So grab that bingo looking card and get started. Your server will stamp what you take and keep a tab going for what you order off the menu. It's genius and absolutely wonderful. If you cant' get that reservation, "Bang, bang, bang on the door baby, Knock a little louder baby" and shimmy on over to the Love Shack.

Loved this place! The concept is so cute, I love being able to try a bit of everything. The drinks were great too! A very good variety of flavors and they also have specials that are fun to try. Everything is to tini but somehow ends up being the perfect size. I don't make the rules, but I do suggest you go!

This spot is great to grab drinks and apps. The service is also always top-notch. The added outdoor seating so it didn't take long to get a seat on a Saturday night. But expect a little bit of a wait. I highly recommend the flight of fries. It also comes with a spicy sauce and an aioli.

I had been dying to come here and finally a work happy hour brought me here! The stars of the show here are the cocktails - everyone at the table ordered different ones and they were all incredible. My favorites were champagne dreams and channel orange but honestly you can't go wrong with any.The food was pretty good but nothing mind blowing. It was a perfect accompaniment to the drinks but would probably go for dinner somewhere else.The service was top notch and the outdoor seating was perfectly shaded and cozy for this summer!
