I've driven by this bar countless times when it was the Foggy Notion, and recently found out that it got renamed Lombard Pub (not to be confused with Lombard House up the road). In my attempt to go to as many dive bars in Portland as possible, this was at the top of my list to complete North Portland. The best part of this place by far is the pricing. Happy hour drinks are super cheap: $3.25 crafts and $3.00 wells, and even their normal prices are excellent. We got three beers and two well drinks for $19.00 during a Saturday night, even when there was a show going on. They're also one of the few bars that sells Rolling Rock on tap; I think Kelly's Olympian in downtown sells it too. There is a stage where a variety of local acts play, and they support some goth and drag nights, which is awesome. It's a solid place to go, not necessarily my favorite but still a good time.

The Lombard Pub is such a cool, unassuming, diverse and happy little dive bar! I have been coming here for the amazing Depeche Mode and New Wave DJ nights and I couldn't have more fun! The DJ's are great! The bartenders are wonderful gentlemen! The clientele is diverse, mature and eclectic and you feel safe in this bar. People are super friendly yet not in your face and the vibe is so chill and cool!If you're in your 20's or in your 50's and love New Wave music and good drinks and company in a safe environment, this place for you!

This is my kind of dive bar - the punk style spot not trying to be a bunch of things its not. I come here a lot more recently since they've been offering up some pretty outstanding dancenights with a floor just big enough to fog out and squeeze me and some other folks on. NYE was jam packed with one of the only fabu no cover parties around. That was a damn good time. I love the vibe - especially since it lacks the creepy asshole factor which so few bars in the various Portland scenes possess these days. I have seen a couple bands here as well - for a smaller space the sound is not bad at all. I hope to be going to events here for quite some time. Since you are away from downtown and tucked out in St Johns you get way fewer "tourists" also so people on the dancefloor are actually dancing...not just standing there drinking. The parking lot is tony but there is plenty of space on side streets nearby with very little walking needed.

There's a punk feel. No hipsters, not everything is about you. It's dimly lit, which is better than fluorescent . When I first came in, I stood in the middle of the room for like 2 min trying to connect to wifi, because I'm a penny pincher like that. So yes, there's wifi.Speaking of penny pinching, tall boy rainier, pabst and hamm's will only cost you 2.50. The crowd is friendly enough. Fk places like Dixie. You don't have to dance on the bar here to get a friendly smile. Surveillance on their gaming room. So... You won't get held up. They do not have an atm as of today. But they are going to get one in about three weeks. Lastly, tonight there's a live band. Cute guys, cute chicks, all of which look like they can brawl or sing with you depending on their mood lol. Cheers yelpers!

What a jewel of a neighborhood dive bar. Went here for Pirogi Tuesday. OMG - if you like real, fresh homemade perogies - then you gotta get em while they last and they don't last all night! Absolutely delish! 4 pirogies with sides of sour cream, mustard or sauerkraut. plus a lovely fresh field green salad for 8 bucks! Who would have thought this little hole in the well would have good food as well as great drinks and specials and happy hour until 8pm and Skiball and games! A very fun hangout! and friendly assorted clientele as well as friendly service. Hey - show em a tattoo on Tuesday night and get 2 for 1 well drinks. I'll be back!

Super cool neighborhood pub with tasty food and stiff drinks. The owner and bartenders are really cool and nice and the bands are awesome. I can never pass up their hand dipped corn dogs and super crispy tater tots. Great place to see local bands and hang out with friends.

Between this, and Mocks Crest Foggy Notion this is the neighborhood bar of choice. Gabe, the bar tender kicks ass, and the music is locally driven. Drinks are cheap, they have outdoor seating, and classic Atari games. Give them a try.
