The Lodge Bar & Grill

Local bar that I walked past for 20 years without going in. Today, I realized they have a patio and I could bring the dogs. The interior is cool (ie AC), with pool table and pinball machines. The patio has an old west/ logger / hunting vibe. The sign says No pot on the patio and reminds us to keep dogs on leash. There are fans on the patio and also overhead heaters. It is a smoking patio, which I regret but can see as an attraction for some. The music was older -classic rock- but not hits. Just good old classic rock. Order at the bar. Good selection of beets beers. My margarita is okay- nothing special. For those who play Ingress, there are two portals in range. And, also two Pokestops. Food. Rueben Came with salad with ranch dressing. And LOTS of mushrooms. Since I don't like them, picking them out was a pain. For mushroom lovers, rejoice! The sandwich itself was seriously good. The corned beef was generous and tasty and well integrated with the sandwich. The margarita could not stand up to the food. It went from okay to tasteless. Finish early!Smothered tots are tasty. Texas grilled cheese turned out "quite tasty" And the addition of mushrooms made it better (for him!)Chicken strip portion was generous and fresh- was super hot!Final verdict: good beer, good pub food, don't bother with the mixed drinks. For a dive bar, 5 stars. For a neighborhood pub, 3.

Seems like a fantastic dive bar in our new part of town. Prices are good. Portions are big. They have tater tots, pool, and some games. Honestly it's kind of a heck yes on the whole scale. I've only been there twice and both times the bartenders were a little sassy, which I love, so I definitely plan to be back. I would say don't go out of your way to go there. Like, don't drive from Sellwood when you can go to the Yukon Tavern. Ya know?

A great neighborhood bar with friendly staff and a certain charm about it. They have a few veggie burger options which are always good. Nice big bun, loaded with lettuce and tomato. The fries are crisp and they've always got a decent tap selection but I really appreciate their changing drink menu.

I met a friend here for lunch last summer. I had a really good Reuben! My bloody Mary was tasty. My friend was happy with her lunch and beverage. We need to get back over there! The atmosphere is chill and the service was excellent on our visit. I used to go here when it was Gator's.

We usually meet a large group of our running friends here and always have a wonderful time - last weekend Michael and I came here because I had a hankering for their corn beef hash. It is so good that some days I wake up craving it or sometimes I just crave it for weeks and finally get to satisfy my craving. The bloody Mary's are fantastic the corn beef hash is some of the best I've had. I ordered a biscuit in lieu of toast and it is a mighty fine biscuit! Inside they have a jukebox that you can control with your phone using the Touchtone app, The Lodge also has darts, a pool table and video games. They also have a huge patio and more outdoor tables on the west side of the building. It's a laid-back local watering hole serving American eats with a great atmosphere and is fabulous for large groups!

Rhonda the chef makes the best Reuben's I've had in town. The corned beef is made in house and sliced nice and thick. The nachos are big enough to feed two people minimum. Friendly personable bar tenders

The most amazing neighborhood bar - great food, fun drinks, and the most amazing patio - covered, heaters at every table, and great people. Weekend breakfast is a favorite, but food is great anytime. I bring people from around the world to my favorite "dive-bar!"

The in-laws wanted to come here after Doggie Dash because they had their pup with them and wanted a nice place with some good patio seating. Really easy to find and it's a pretty nice place. The outdoor area is great for pups too. Staff was really friendly and prompt. We all got something completely different and everything looked amazing. My BIL had a burger and said it was so delicious, the pup definitely approved of the fries. My partner decided he wanted a grilled cheese with bacon. They do not skimp on the thick cut bacon I can tell you that. SIL had a fully loaded salad that she really enjoyed. I had a delicious Cuban with tots. The only bad thing was that I left the other half of my sandwich and tots in their car. I was highly disappointed because it was really delicious, but BIL thought it was great I forgot it. Glad he also was able to enjoy that goodness. Reasonable prices and good portions. I feel the need to return very soon to get another Cuban.

We sat on the patio in the back of this " dog friendly " bar due to the puppies We got told our 6 month old puppies were not well behaved due to occasional speaking that puppies do. Even though they let several people pet them.?The bartender tells us " I hate barky dogs" Then proceeds to come outside after and tell us " okay your dogs have been barking for hours and it needs to be settled down" Conveniently after we paid our tabsI told him that they have only barked occasionally not consistently through the 2 hours and $80+ we spent there.They barked at him when he came back outside and he yelled at us " OKAY IM DONE BEING NICE YOU NEED TO LEAVE ".... If you hate dogs don't work at a dog friendly place.?The pups were also tied to the table far from people..

Yum...some folks shall love Collards! The food blew my mind and very reasonably priced. I triple dog dare ya.
