So yummy! This place is a small, local, women owned restaurant with a variety of delicious ramen. I had the Chicken Ramen with level 3 spice. It did have a little kick, but I could've done a level 4. I wanted to try their Thai tea but unfortunately they ran out. That just gives me another reason to come and visit again! The service is super good and nice. Definitely worth giving a try!

A small, clean and very pleasant dining experience from top to bottom. I like trying new things, and I had never seen a curry Ramen so I ordered that got good advice from the clerk on which type of work to include and was presented with a perfectly prepared, tasty bowl of mildly curry Ramen, that fit perfectly with the vegetables, the broth, the noodles and the meat.Highly recommended

Was craving ramen and was recommended to try the House of Ramen. I got the beef ramen and Thai tea which were delicious. The restaurant is small but has seating if you wanted to dine in. The only issue is that I wish they could close a little later than 8pm.

I walked over here on my lunch break (happened to be downtown for jury duty) because it was close and I'd been wanting to try it for a while. It was quiet and friendly, but I found the ramen itself pretty mediocre. I got the chasu ramen. Noodle texture was good but the broth felt bland; I had to add some spice. The chasu was fairly dry and I'm not a big fan of bean sprouts in my ramen. It also felt like it was lacking some toppings. I noticed they had other non-ramen snacks on the menu that looked good but didn't order any. I feel that the star of the show, especially when you're trying a new place, should be the main dish. Unfortunately that star was underwhelming. In other words, I've had better. Maybe I'll try again sometime but the menu didn't really grab me.

We were hungry. We needed comfort foods. This place came to the rescue.Broth was rich, noodles cooked just right, presentation excellent. Meats? Some on the dry side and others OK.I appreciated them for providing what I needed.

Great customer service! The ramen was so tasty and really satisfied my craving. I liked the vibe inside the restaurant, felt quite wholesome but maybe that was just because it was raining outside and I was seated facing outside and my friends were with me :,). Will be returning

This is my comfort food spot! They are fast getting food out and have always had good service. Definitely a smaller dinner area but is good for a quick lunch or even take out!

After walking by this place for a couple of years, I was with a group who wanted to go to The House of Ramen. Being a fan of Ramen, I had no problems finally giving this place a try. Being here for lunch, I wasn't sure what to expect. I went with the BBQ Ramen. This has a Shoyu base, wavy noodle, bbq pork, a perfectly cooked egg, bean sprouts, pickled ginger, sesame seeds, and green onion. The only thing I didn't completely love was the wavy noodle, but the flavor was great and the pork and egg were cooked perfectly. Not sure what others had in my party, but everything looked wonderful. One thing I do want to try next time are the appetizers. I didn't get a chance to try one, but others in my group loved them. If you're a fan of ramen and in downtown Portland, give this place a try. The service was great here as well.

$5 Thai ice tea was decent. Lots of ice but the only thing pallettable I ordered. I ordered the #2. Basic pork ramen. Pork was dry, there was alot of noodles that had a really weird taste and texture, broth was pretty bland. My egg was cold, which was just another disappointing blow to the entire ramen bowl. In my honest opinion, you can find ramen in town for the same price that's much tastier. This wasn't $15 quality. I will say the employee was kind when I returned the dish and contacted his manager to refund me. I don't think I've ever left a restaurant unable to eat the food before. After diving into reviews deeper its a mixed bag, and lots of hit and miss it seems like. Today was a miss.
