Tender Green Chinese Kitchen

My Buddy and I had a casual by chance stop here. It was ok and will do in a pinch. A step above fast food and great if one is in a hurry? 3 stars*** !

This place is so good!!! I just happened to be nearby and a friend told me this place was really good! I got the chicken lo mein, spring rolls, sweet and sour chicken and pork fried rice. Everything was fresh and hot and had very good flavor! I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

My previous review was from 7 years ago. I realized, it's time for an update! :) Their food doesn't make me sick anymore. I haven't given up on them! Lol. I know MSG is in Doritos and a lot of other foods we eat everyday and I am sensitive to high quantities of sodium. Did they have MSG in their food??? I can't remember but hopefully I asked them before I posted that. I don't care anyways if there is MSG. Uncle Roger approves!! I try to steer clear of it but my body needs sodium and I LOvE it. It's a love hate relationship, all in moderation, yes?! So anyways, the update:The food is delicious and I love that they updated the front of the restaurant. Their customer service has always been great. Very nice people and they are very attentive to my needs and my cravings lol I love that I can drive by after a long day, order some food from them and zone out while I wait for my order. Bringing my treasure treats home, I always pass out in a food coma after their meals. This is a good thing! I would give another star if they updated the inside of the restaurant with tables and chairs, some interior design. Thank you!

From the outside the place doesn't look like much. Upon entering the restaurant it looks a bit run down and needs an update. I don't judge a restaurant by what it looks like but by how much I enjoy their food. There aren't many chinese takeout places in this part of town so when I find one this close to my house I have to give them a try. The food is great and there is plenty of it. I always order "A Plate" which is two entree and one side and I have not been disappointed by the quality of the food or the portions. I believe the food is made to order because it always tastes fresh and is piping hot. For $10 this is a great meal. I have started eating here once a week and will continue to do so.

What Tender Green lacks in ambiance it clearly makes up for in food quality and taste. Great Chinese dishes with ample portion sizes and great flavors. My wife and I love this little, local gem. Give it a try. You won regret it.

Best food in town. Hands down. One of those great hidden finds for Chinese food. Service is good.

Nothing special really. The Chinese food was just fine and reasonable pricing. It's definitely still open. Looks like it used to be a different name. I'd pick up Chinese food to go from here again.

Last 3 times I went there they seemed to have a new chef. The quality of craftmanship was not up to the same level as the previous chef. Not going back.

The bar is open and becoming a major contributor to the community helping lower income families and a safe place to be. I love this place

Food is good, hot and plentiful. Only thing I don't like is no plates or silverware. Food comes in styrofoam containers with a plastic fork. But the food is worth it.
