Simply some of the best tacos i've had in Portland hands down! they also have a good variety of meat options that wouldn't typically be on the menu at some locations. This spot is still cash only $2.50 per taco, (they put a lot of meat on each)Try their carnitas or tacos de cabeza!

This truck has been here over 16 years! I had no idea. Again driving by and saw this had to stop. They had all kinds of cool eats. Of course my first go to for trucks are tacos! Just to see what they are working with! So I tried 3 carnitas tacos! These were some of the best tacos I've ever had! For one they were packed with meat and great flavor! The nice man running the truck was super happy to have me as a customer! He was so nice and telling me some of his history! I was like wow! This is what most businesses owners should be like! Happy to have the business! I mean this guy was glowing from head to toe! I got to my car and opened my tacos! Yessssss! They were double tortillas stuffed with Fresh Carnitas and Cilantro! Best combo ever. It was served along with fresh lime and Salsas! I grabbed two different kinds one hot verde and one mild Avocado sauce! They were both smacking! But I really liked the hotttttt one! Soooo good. Well not to mention they were so affordable! You gotta come try some. You won't be disappointed at all. Plus the guy is so nice! It will make you want to come back for more! Keep up the great work Taco Truck Man! Your Amazing!

Yay found my new taco place!! First time trying tacos from this truck; the owner was so nice and fun! He had burritos, tacos, nachos, quesadillas, and other things too. I got 5 tacos and a drink, and the total was only $11! I don't know where else you can get tacos for that price around here. I tried a variety of meats and my favorites were the adobada and the carnitas tacos. The adobado was so rich and juicy and I'm going to be dreaming of them tonight. I love the simplicity of this place! My tacos came neatly tucked away in foil, and my salsa came in little packets. There wasn't a lot of waste :) The tacos were street style; two small corn tortillas and topped with onions and cilantro. It's so yummy here you have to come try!! Next time I'm gonna get 10 tacos

The owner is very friendly and the prices are great for the amount of food you're getting. Not always easy to catch it when its open, but the flavor is authentic i've always walked away satisfied. Delicious, affordable mexican food and prepared quick. I would highly recommend.

A Mexican food truck with pretty tasty tacos, but it depends on what you order. The first time, I tried this cart, I ordered a burrito with carne asada, and it was really fatty and grisly that day, and I vowed never to come back. Sometimes, it's necessary to give people/places a second chance, and I am glad that I did. The best meat choices are the lengua and the cabeza. Trust me, I was hesitant at first, but I finally got over that fear of trying tongue. They were both tender and flavorful, which is everything you want in a taco. The owner has lived in Portland, for many years, and is very friendly and makes amazing tacos. There's lamb on the menu, and I will definitely have to come back and try a lamb taco. I usually never have cash on me, but I make sure to have cash when I am only spending $5-6.Ask for lime, and verde salsa. Get your food to go. #tacotrucksoneverycorner YES PLEASE!

This cart is placed in a very hard-to-reach spot and only accepts cash - two things I did not know before I got there. I placed my order and walked to closeby Plaid Pantry and got cash at the ATM, as the Plaid Pantry there does not do cash back. The people there were nice, though, so I did not have anything against the cart for any of this. I was just frustrated at having such a hard time getting dinner.The real reason my review is only 2 stars is for the quality of the food. I ordered three tacos, carnitas, carne asada and pollo, which were less than average quality. They didn't have much flavor and weren't filled very well. I also ordered carne asada nachos, which could have been good, except they layered all the toppings, cheese, tomatoes, sour cream, carne asada, etc. on top of the chips. It looked just like a casserole, not nachos, but that wasn't my issue. By the time I got them home (only a 5-10 minute drive), the chips were soggy and limp underneath all of the toppings. I had to eat my nachos with a fork, and even then it only tasted okay.

Ah MY GAWD! I find myself thinking about this food all the time. I am afraid that they might think I am stalker so have slowed my visits down.Perfectly flavored and cooked meats, fabulous "truck" made red, green and avocado salsa and cheaper than chips.I really find it hard to justify NOT going there as it is so insanely good and nearly free.I feel guilty that they do not charge me more, so I always tips big.

Torres De Morelos... We get along great. Why? Morelos is my middle name. AND they make delicious tacos, and I eat delicious tacos. Born and raised in Southern California, I have lived in Portland for six years and it is damn hard to find a legit taco spot in Portland. And I'm glad that I discovered this place. They have my two all time favorite meats: LENGUA y CABEZA! Both meats were tender and juicy for every bite. The amount of meat in the tacos were more than what I expected (in a good way). No lack of flavor as well! If they ask if you want limes, say yes. If they don't, ask for some limes. I prefer salsa verde. I need more tacos. Tacos, tacos, tacos. TACOS! I must stop writing this because I am craving for more tacos. Oh yeah, cash only. Dolla, dolla, bills ya'll.

Friend brought me here, noting it was near his work and they had the best tortas ever. So on my day off, I took him up on his offer and we checked out the best tortas ever. Did not disappoint! They were full of meat and avocado and all the goodness that I love in tortas! Definitely had enough for lunch the next day and I was actually excited to show it to colleagues the next day. They have a little sitting area off to the side that isn't really protected by the elements but they do try. A pretty tight space but definitely work checking out!

absolutely nice guy but really really bad service and food, the dude didnt mention that its cash only until after we ordered we saw a sign, then he told us to walk to plad to get cash back AND THEY DIDNT EVEN GIVE CASH BACK so we walk to target to get a fuckin snickers and get cash back. we payed 20$ for a shitty ass chicken burrito(with some beat ass beans that were way over cooked), a fish and a shrimp taco with the chewiest fish and some nachos that were just fuckin everything you'd find in a burrito with soggy ass chips at the bottom, i ordered nachos buddy not fuckin a burrito salad. anyway shitty as fuck, dont even know how they've been in business for 10 years. if i could give 0 stars i would..
