Food is always 10/10As for service, everyone is always so kind. The ambiance is always a vibe. I hadn't tried their Verde Posole, today that it was I got. I'm already ready for seconds. Highly recommend, especially if you're sick. (I'm icky today ) I ate the entire container it came in and I have zero regrets.

The food here was AMAZING! The tacos were all so good - it was hard to choose a favorite. The pozole was perfect for rainy day. It was full flavor and had a good spice to it. I also got an agua de pepino con menta y limón - delicious! The staff was really friendly and our food was served fast. We came on Sunday afternoon and it was not busy at all. Perfect spot for dinner. I would love to come back for brunch and try their chilaquiles.

Since moving to PNW, its been hard finding my Mexican tastebuds needs. Luckily, I found super flavorful street tacos on the east side. From the salsa to the corn tortillas, everything is from scatch. Lots of POC here supporting the cause. Street parking can be tough, but its worth the trip. Enjoy!

4.5 stars! Enjoyed many different variety of tacos (they have a lot!). I recommend the shrimp tacos and black beans as well as the chips and guac. Although I didn't see it on the menu, they do have margaritas. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun. It was decorated for Dias de los Muertos. It is counter service and you bus your own table.

This is counter service and bus your own table style. A variety of tacos to choose from! My favorites were the barbacoa, Jalisco barbacoa, and the shrimp tacos. I also ordered the pozole verde and that was my favorite thing on the menu! The place was packed on a Saturday night but we were able to find plenty of seating with no issues. Can't wait to try more items next time.

Great local place to gather and eat some delicious tacos. I had a lengua (tongue) taco and a choripapa taco which is chorizo and fried potatoes mixed! Both where superb quality the lengua taco was meaty and not oily like someplace, and the choripapa was next level, I really loved that the potatoes where still crispy. They also had Pozole either red or green as a special. I was a bit hesitant since I have had the menudo here before and although it was good its made without hominy which was a huge surprise for me. Apparently the owners region of Mexico where j is from its prepared this way. I was ensured that the pozole had hominy but I'll save it for next time. Love that its queer owned and most of all Latino owned ! Go give them all your love and money!

I'm sooooo confused by the reviews here! Did I just order the wrong food or something? My wife and I ordered 5 tacos between us and chips and salsa. The homemade chips and all of the salsas were the only redeeming thing about our experience. The tacos themselves were incredibly underseasoned and underwhelming. At almost $5-$6 a taco, 5 tacos should've filled us up. Nope. We ended up getting pizza next door from being unsatisfied with our meal. The spot is cute and decor is nicely appointed. I like being able to watch them make the tortillas but really, I don't understand the hype. Maybe this is what's considered good in the PNW and I'm spoiled being from Southern California. Oh well

As an insufferable white person who grew up in Southern California in the 80s and 90s this is my favorite Taqueria in Portland. The owner is an angel from heaven if you don't like this place you fucking suck. I could eat the shrimp tacos every day for the rest of my life. The day of the dead display will melt your heart.

This place is devoted to tacos. One of the owners, Dave, asked if I was new to the place and gave me the run down. Hand made, on the spot, tortillas and 26 different fillings. It all makes for a delicious experience set in a disco, Mexican Mom's Man-cave. It's an exciting setting. It's very festive! The woman next to me had an inspired pozole that could feed a family of three. It's more than a taco joint, it's the family you never knew you had. I wish I could make it a daily indulgence!

Hands down our favorite taco place in greater Portland area. They extra stand out for being dog friendly. They often have a water bowls for fur babies. Staff is helpful and friendly. Ample outdoor seating and indoor. Love the ambiance. Feels eclectic and more authentic to feeling like we are dining south of the border. Food is top notch. Haven't had a taco here that isn't divine. Yum
