Tammy's is located inside my local gas station convenient store and I had no idea it existed until recently when some friends recommended it. I've been meaning to try it, but kept forgetting about it until the weekend, when it's closed. Tired of rich, Christmas leftovers, I finally remembered this place on a weekday and checked it out. We got the tofu rice bowl and loved it. The tofu was cooked really well and the sauce was extra yummy. I'm excited to try more of the menu.

So....this place is a convenience store, not a restaurant. It's just a mom and pop shop. Evidently there's a kitchen in the back. Salad rolls w/shrimp (U-31) were fresh, 6/10. Pho was made to order and had well developed flavors 9/10. Fountain sodas had sugar ants in the nozzles and bathroom was disgusting.(to be fair it is a convenience store). If I was only rating on food 4 stars definitely, maybe 5 for Pho.

I have seen the little sign on the gas station saying Pho $6.50 and thought to myself that I would not be eating Pho at a gas station. I really regret that decision years ago. On recommendation from a friend I finally tried this place. The hours are a bit limited, only open during the day and on weekdays. I suspect this café is a passion project for one of the family members who own this gas station. What you are going to find here is a simple menus of soups and rice dishes, her eggrolls and salad rolls all for a very reasonable price. Most people take it to go but there is a few tables in the back to eat, more room than I thought there would be. Everything I had including the chicken Pho was really good and filling. I am not sure where else you can get a good large bowl of Pho for less than 7 dollars. Please don't make the mistake I made years ago and ignore this place. For people around on a weekday that want a good house made Vietnamese lunch this is a very good option. My only complaint is I wish they would not put the food to go in styrofoam.

Yum! This is an unexpected surprise. Inside the 76 gas station they sell super fresh salad rolls and have a menu of pho and rice bowls. Really inexpensive, fresh and generous portions. The owners here are super friendly.

Interesting choice for a Vietnamese place, but in Portland, anything is possible. I learned that by finding amazing pizza at a convenience store. So why can't you get good Vietnamese at a gas station?I was heading to work and stopped in at this gas station because I knew of this place when I used to live in the area and because I work right across the street, but never ventured in. Unfortunately, after a certain time the kitchen is closed, but they make up extra egg rolls and salad rolls for customers coming in late. The salad rolls were my option. Two large rolls cut in half crammed with shrimp, cucumbers, carrots and one other crunchy element that I do not know, but it made it one of my favorite salad rolls thus far. Lots of flavor, lots of crunch! The peanut sauce that it came with was what you would normally expect and the rolls didn't last more than 10 minutes. I will have to make it back earlier to try some of the pho or other options. Everything was reasonably priced and the Vietnamese man who ran the place was very friendly and encouraging me to return.I will plan on doing that soon. Enjoy.

The spring rolls are amazing. I've paid a lot more money at restaurants and these are hands down the best. I thought it was different that this place is inside of 76 gas station but I'm definitely will return.

The last place you think you'll find yummy Vietnamese food is a gas station. The beef noodle soup (priced at $7.50) is pretty tasty, but it's missing a bit of the wonderful aromatics that make beef noodle soup great. They have delicious spring rolls and other items on the menu that are well priced! Overall, very kind people who own and run the gas station and make the food. Will definitely be back!

I was so excited to try this place, because of the reviews. I was beyond disappointed with everything. My pho tasted like hot water with noodles and beef. No flavor what so ever! I asked one of the workers for fish sauce and she just looked at me and said NO. I'd NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

I am so glad I checked the yelp reviews for this place. I probably would have never tried it otherwise. I just moved to Portland from Southern California and we were looking for a good pho place. This place is amazing. It's a great deal and I think it's the best pho I've ever had in my whole life. Most people get it to go but there is a small seating area. The beef broth is sooo good. They were out of beef when we went but the tofu was high quality and the chicken was moist and delicious. We also had the tofu salad rolls and those were delicious as well. I will absolutely be coming back here and you should give it a try as soon as possible!
