We have been eating here since the early 90s service is always excellent, and the food is always top-notch, you can actually watch them cook your food right there in the window of the kitchen.

I know employees don't want to work overtime. I get it. We did arrive a half hour before closing time (9:30 pm) so we ate as fast as possible. When the server came to the table with our to-go boxes, she actually said to me "Can I have your fork?" and took it from my hand then proceeded to scrape my food into the box. I was still eating. Are you blown away now? Yes, this happened.

We came here for a family birthday. The service was attentive and friendly and patient as we couldn't make up our minds. The food is consistent and flavorful for what I'd refer to as American Chinese food. Servings and generous for the prices. The ambience is definitely 80s but it's kept clean.

10/10! Happy to have found this place. The reviews looked good snd the pictures looked good too. We liked that the prices weren't too bad, lunch is $2 less then dinner. So like $10.50 & $12.50. The lunch special comes with soup too! Hot tea served as well :) We got Orange chicken (which is a dollar more), chicken fried rice and chicken chow main for $38. Everything tasted super fresh and didn't feel heavy afterwards. A lot of food so lots of left overs too :)The service was awesome, and the restaurant was really clean. Coming back for sure!!

In line with recent reviews, the food isn't great and I have had worse. It is fair. Ambiance is a little outdated and could use some sprucing up. Service was okay. Will not come back, because there are better places to go to.

This Americanized Chinese food was not the expected Sichuan or Szechuan food. The cooks were Asian and I suspect are Chinese but the menu is typical small town Chinese food. I asked about Sichuan peppercorn dishes and they only had one. Ma La Chicken or could be made with beef or pork. Unimpressed with lack of authenticity to the Sichuan name I feel should be called Chinese Food. That said the Ma La Chicken I ordered was tasty with tender white moist chicken not overcooked, onions, snow peas, shiitake mushrooms all fresh and crisp and not cooked poorly. Just not Sichuan. So if you are not looking for ethnic Sichuan Chinese food I can perhaps recommend it to you. It's Chinese food for white people. Kind of like Epcot Italy. The decor is ok plain. Seating is ample. Bathroom not clean. That part is pretty authentic Chinese restaurant and usually means it will be good. Service was fine. I think I put them off a little questioning non Szechuan menu Szechuan named restaurant. I had to show the waitress photo of The Szechuan peppercorn. Prices were good portions huge. Came with free pot of tea. Ordered only the one dish. I ate and am full and have enough for another meal. I think that's why 70% of we Americans are obese.

I just had a DoorDash delivery from this restaurant. Everything came hot perfect very large portions and extremely delicious. This is my number one spot in Gresham. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a Chinese food in the Gresham Barlow area. I wanted to take pictures, but my son jumped into it way too quick. We had the wonton soup which was delicious the lemon chicken which was delicious and the fried rice which was enough for a whole entire family. I thought at first it was kind of expensive but everything is now it is but the servings they give you are enormous and definitely worth the money.

Service was wonderful but both my friend and I ordered chicken dishes. They were both overly coated in cornstarch gelatin that really covered any flavors.

Mushy weird chicken, kung pao was not spicy-breaded?, gross. Peanuts tasted old. Hot and spicy soup was ok but portion was really small. Third time trying this place, different food orders every time. Not worth the money.

Subpar Chinese food. They have no options at all and no combo meals. Their fried rice is not fried at all. It's some white rice tossed with some soy sauce. They only have white rice as their side options. Absolutely basic white rice not sticky rice just white rice . I hope you want eight servings of mushy sesame chicken because that's exactly what you're gonna get for $16. Prepare to be very disappointed. God help you if you're just one person wanting some Chinese food and you don't want panda express. Although panda express would be better than this. in fact, just save your money and travel a little further down Powell to Wok In off Main Street.
