I wanted Chinese food for lunch and was actually looking for a different place when I missed my turn and ended up here. I am so glad I stopped. This place has THE BEST fried rice I've ever had anywhere. Most other places are oily and bland. This place has the perfect texture and seasoning. It was so amazing, and the first time I did not need to improve it with soy sauce. The other items we ordered were great too. The only drawback was the Taylor Swift playlist. Not the music I want to listen to while eating this cuisine.

We used to come here more because it was near and the food was decent but prices has gone up and with just my husband and I, when we try to have more variety, the bill gets up to $100 which makes it quite expensive for just the two of us. Also the food doesn't taste as fragrant anymore or maybe I had a rosier memory. We always order the mapo tofu, spicy fish, spicy long beans and Chongqing chicken. But we might try other places next time to compare.

I've been dining at Szechuan Garden in Beaverton for a few years, and it has consistently delivered a great experience. The food is always delicious, with authentic and robust flavors that never disappoint. The service is consistently good, with friendly and attentive staff who make you feel welcome. The prices are reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of food and service provided. Whether you're a long-time patron or a first-time visitor, Szechuan Garden is highly recommended for a satisfying and enjoyable meal.

I am a regular to this restaurant. I would highly recommend this place for their food. All the dishes I have tried has a decent portion size, tastes really good too ! This time we got take out and ofcourse got our most favourite dish from this restaurant- Cumin lamb.Usually setting is very fast and the customer service is good. Good generally takes about 15-20mins to be served. But totally worth the wait.

Tried their house dumplings, meaty and juicy and came out steaming hot. Recommend this.Golden garlic spare ribs. adjust spicy level to your desire and just know that it does have semi numbing sensation on tongue that gets brought on with the heat. Tasty and crispy crunchy, would recommend if you want protein and savory dish. Do recommend to eat this with rice!house spicy hand shaven noodles stirfry, highly recommend and this was what really drew me here to dine. Have tried it at many places and have to say this place hand shaven noodle is legit. Not too thick or too long or too thin, sauce is stirfryed and coated all the noodles evenly, I chose to eat with beef and did mild spicy. Pretty good and tasty. can take the "wok" fire from the chefs cooking.eggplant with hot garlic sauce. been craving for a really good place that makes this dish well, the recipe here is a bit tangy and more on the sweet side. Personal preference of how spicy you want it. it would be recommended to eat with rice. The taste was not to my personal preference however for those that like a bit of heat and tangy and sweet flavors, give this vegetable dish a try. Rice is not complementary $3 each person around dinner time. Coming from Portland chinese restaurants, I have seen they do serve a bucket of rice and leave on table and at no charge. It's not a big deal. just was not paying attending to there may be a cost and didn't realize until at check out. It is recommended to eat Szechuan dishes with rice, lots of flavor and heat (if you order it more spicy). Enjoy!

A bit of a hole in the wall, undiscovered gem type place. Food was wonderful, service was solid. I've been looking for Szechuan dry pot chicken since we had it in Chicago, this place had it and it was just as delicious as I remembered.

Food was just ok, the Chong Qing Hot Chicken had a slightly fishy taste I suspect some type of fried fish was cooked before mine. The spice was light for a Szechuan restaurant. The Hot & Spicy Special Hand Shaven noodles we a good texture and cooked nicely but again not exactly spicy. I think this restaurant has the right menu and the right idea but they just slightly miss the mark. I will try it again to see if perhaps this time was just an off day,

As vanilla as store brand ice cream. I've had better stir fry during a road trip on the interstate in the middle of nowhere than this place.Zero "wok air", as oily as stir fry basil beef can get. Every general Tso's recipe is different... this one tasted like some expired Chun King branded sauce that had way too much vinegar, like it was a derivative of their sweet and sour sauce since they don't have an original recipe themselves... and I came in with the lowest of expectations.Panda Express would have been a smarter choice than this. I really hope the Szechuan place off Cornell/Bethany reopens again sooner than later. This is not to say anything tasted bad, just nothing tasted good... just a passable forgettable meal.
