Seated immediately. Attentive but standard service, no extra fixing, which is nice for the cut to the chase person dining (if that's you). Wasn't too busy. Food was good, not like blow your mind, but I felt happy and it tasted nice. The lighting was fine (not harsh) and it was a bull house after we were seated without feeling too busy or overstimulated. If I happened to be within walking distance, I would go again.

Unfortunately I can't update with a better review. The Panang curry was tasty and the rice with it was fluffy. But the pad see ew noodles were so firm, maybe not fresh, that we couldn't pull or move it around the container and had to dump it in a bowl. Then we realized it had no sauce (or if it had any it wasn't apparent at all) -- it was dry and flavorless. So I had to mix up a sauce to put on it, when all I wanted to do was relax after a rough day. Finally, the mango and sticky rice was also too firm. The mango was not really ripe and the rice was so clumped together it was hard to eat. I think we'll make a different choice next time.

Some of the best Thai food we've had outside of Thailand. Definitely recommend the papaya salad and the Tom Yum noodles. Medium spice is really spicy, as a warning. It's all so good though. I really liked the Bok Choy stir fry and mango sticky rice too. Highly recommend this place.

We've been coming here for years since my parents moved to Oregon. Every time I come visit we always stop by this place and it always hits the spot. One of the best wings I've ever had. DISGUSTING. I ordered some basic Pad Thai tonight. Noodles weren't evenly covered even after stirring. Some parts of the dish were super dry. The parts that did have sauce were covered in a disgusting red sauce. The best way to describe it is to say it tasted like it was covered in actual ketchup. Huge waste of money! So gross!!

This is a neighborhood spot for me, and I've been coming here since the place opened way back in the olden days. It's been consistently great. It's probably my favorite Thai place in Portland, despite the fact that it's in walking distance to me. Like many Thai restaurants its in an old house, with cozy seating, but it also has an outside deck area which is great in summer. They once has a bar at street level as well, and consequently had quite a cocktail menu. Of course under COVID conditions the place is all about the take out and the delivery. You can order beer, but I cocktails? Not so much. My personal favorite dish here is the Pad Kee Mao, which I get really hot. Their traditional Thai curries (Green, Red, Masaman) are all delicious as well. Their fresh salad rolls with peanut sauce also never fail to please.
