Sure Shot Burger

Really good smash burger. We had gelato across the street and then saw the pictures of this place online and had to give it a try. We were not disappointed. And what's up with someone comparing this place to McDonalds? That is a horrible comparison. Shame on them.

I've been to this place a few times and always considered it pretty good food for a reasonable price. A genuine smash burger with crispy edges unlike other places masquerading as such.T'was the night before October fifth when I wound up eating there for the first of two days in a row. The Buffalo Burger currently on rotation is phenomenal. Had to go back the next day just to make sure. No joke, I might boycott if that Burger doesn't come back every other month or is available via some kind of secret menu.It's a small spot in a cozy part of town. Lots of choices nearby for desserts or alternatives to burgers. They also now have nuggets which is great cause it's basically all my kids want when we go out.Order online for prompt pickup or grab a beverage from a nearby watering hole while you wait in person. Staff is always laidback and helpful. Order the buffalo burger and tell them it should be available year round.So I don't sound like a total fanboi, I disliked the ranch dip. All the other dips are great especially spicy ketchup. Buffalo Burger is the best thing in town currently.

I was craving a smash burger and reviews for Sure Shot were promising. Being next to one of my favorite breweries sealed the deal.Prices are great at $6 per burger. Wait time was long, but beers made that just fine. Fries were tasty and burgers were great. Kind of like a super high end old school McDonald's burger. I split a bag with someone else but we were stuffed after two burgers and fries. The third was a great treat the next day. Will for sure be back!

Amazing!!! Highly recommend. I am taking everyone here! I got the vegetarian option and have been talking to everyone about it haha the food is amazing. I loved the sauces and fries! I can't wait to go back. The patio is also cute spot to just enjoy weather and your food.

Normally I visit a couple of times before I decide to review or not and this cart has won me over! One of my friends had been raving about the cart for a few weeks and convinced to give this place a try. Smash burgers are the latest burgers I will seek out and I am happy to say this is another winner!I parked my car close by and arrived at the cart. The menu is pretty simple and the price is on point. I ordered the single cheese smash burger with fries and a bottle of Squirt. The food is cooked to order and I was given a buzzer. They have a covered patio with heated lamps so melt myself warm and enjoyed the music ambience. I picked up my food and soda to enjoy consumption and the fries were crisp, just the right amount of salt. And the portion size was perfect. The spicy ketchup was tangy and flavorful with a little kick as a finishing touch. I then tasted the burger and the toppings held well together. With each bite I could enjoy the special sauce, the onions, the cheese, and the seasoned patty with flawless harmony. I let my friend know that it reminded me of how old school burgers used to taste like when I was younger. The cart also offers a vegan option which I heard is one of the best impossible burgers in the city. I can't wait to go back and try that on my next visit, cheers!

The hunt for fire burgers continues! This food truck is a gem. The smash burgers were tender and crispy. I wish it was bigger because I want more. I loved their sauce. Wasn't too heavy. Their fries are crispy and paired perfectly with the spicy ketchup. I love their covered patio. They have heat lamps also. It's located next to a brewery if you wanted some beers. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend!

I want to leave a review. The place is nice and clean. The burgers were quite large and filling. Our family was satisfied. The service was top-notch. I recommend it!

I was craving a-smashed burger today. They're not just regular burgers you know. This one was in a hip little neighborhood. It's a food truck beside an amazing pub.I got their special double patty with cheese. Special sauce is yummy. House made pickles, crisp, and tasty. The caramelized onions were wonderful. Perfect bun to burger ratio, and not too much sauce.This was the best burger I've had in a while. It had that crispy Lacey crust with melted cheese. Oh man, The fries were hot and tasty. I enjoyed the spicy ketchup,, although I'm a mustard girl.The burger master that made my lunch was super friendly. He was patient, when I asked some questions. I got just what I wanted. They have the Mexican cokes. Yum. You can sit next-door in the pub and wait for your burger to be ready. I enjoyed a delicious Pilsner. The wait was only like 10 minutes at most. A short waiting time comparatively. oh man worth it.!!Will I be back to the spot? Oh hell yeah. ! it's a bit of a drive for me, but well worth it!I would like to try some of the other tasty looking items.

This is my favorite burger in PDX. Yeah I said what I said! You can get a single cheeseburger for $6! What a steal! Their fries are equally delicious too. Sometimes they have curly fries and waffle fries too but I've only tried their regular fries which are always super fresh, hot, and crispy. You get a sauce of your choice with fries and you can pay for extra sauce as well. I really like their ranch and their house sauce too. They have a yummy spicy ketchup but they also provide free packets if you're into that. I got there right at opening on a Saturday and shortly after there was a line behind me. Get there early, especially if they have a yummy special you're interested in. You can eat outside in their heated tent which is connected with Oakshire Brewing. Parking is never an issue on the street either.

Still happily plowing my way through all the smash burgers out there, I ended up at Sure Shot on Saturday around 12:30. There wasn't a line at the truck ordering, but there were quite a few awaiting their meals in the tent seating area. It ended up being about a 20 minute wait, but it was worth it. The burgers are slight in toppings but satisfying on flavor...and most importantly in smashness...with fabulous crispy edges and a very tasty smash sauce. We each ordered a double and shared an order of fries. My only suggestion would be to cut back on the fry salt some. But other than that, the food was great and service exceptionally friendly. Sure Shot is definitely a must-try if you enjoy a smash as much as I do.
