Sunny's Diner

Great service. I recommend the chicken fried steak. It's hand breaded and a good size. Fluffy biscuits with delicious jam. I liked that they had alcoholic drink options too.

Ordered a burger and fish n chips as takeout. The burger was raw, the fish was soggy and smelled rotten. Threw all $50 worth away except the fries. Nothing I'd love more than a truly local breakfast/burger place in the neighborhood. Happy to pay to avoid all the nasty fast food around here but this ain't it.

Walked into an almost empty restaurant at 2pm on a Sunday, and we were quickly greeted and sat at our table. Our server was friendly, and made sure we had waters right away. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite measure up to the service. I ordered a patty melt with fries, medium-well on the burger doneness. I will say that there is a lot of food for the money, but I really wish the quality was there. The burger was very thick and juicy, and when combined with two very thick slices of marble rye, it was almost impossible to eat. The rye bread itself seemed very dry, and there was just too much of it. The burger patty also had a meatloaf type consistency, which wasn't the most enjoyable.The dish came with a pile of fries, of which I could only eat half. They were pretty crispy on the outside, with a bit of "chip spice" mixed in here and there, but the interior of the fries were more pasty than fluffy.I really wanted to like Sunny's, but ultimately it was just okay.

Went here and got Sunny biscuits ranchero breakfast and it was good. The staff there were really friendly and helpful. The place was your typical breakfast place

My husband was searching for my review of Sunny's, but he couldn't find it. I thought, I didn't write a review the first time. (I wanted to know what we ordered, so we could try others from the menu).2nd time here: I ordered the Mushroom & Swiss BUMP. This time, I noticed, the mushrooms were fresh. I seldom eat fresh mushrooms on my hamburger, so I only ate 1/4ths of mine, and had exchanged with hubby's Reuben Sandwich 1/4ths and onion rings. This time, I enjoyed their French Fries. And I liked the Onion rings, too! I did put aside my fresh onions, from my BUMP, and he add those to his 1/4ths. Again, we took half home, for another meal. (This is something we always do).

Cute and convenient location with good service! The hot chocolate, sourdough bread, bread pudding and chili cheese omelette was so good! I also got the meat scramble but wished it had more cheese as it was heavy has brown so a little dry. Overall we really enjoyed our meal and the serving sizes are large! Definitely shareable! We will be back as we now live in the area.

Probably the strangest thing about my breakfast was the fact my toast was stale and not toasted at all. The sausage had a strange taste, not to my liking, nothing wrong with it just an odd taste. Val's patty melt was huge and very tasty. Service was excellent and the decor was diner all the way. Probably not going back.

Very good breakfast spot with home made bread, giant cinnamon roll and biscuits. The severs were very attentive I had the biscuits Ranchero and it was amazing. We also split the giant cinnamon roll between 3 and there was still some left over

Not Having the items on the menu available, as shown on tv commercials, very disappointed we drove the some distance for a good breakfast, everything we ordered was either not available or asked if we want to substitute items? Will not return, they lost two potential customers.
