Very happy to have a Thai food cart down on the South Waterfront. For my first time, I ordered my favorite, Pad Kee Mao, medium because the young lady working there said their spice levels were very hot. The dish was good, not great. It was lacking the complexity and layers of flavors that makes Thai food stand out. it was very "one note." Plus, it didn't have the traditional veggies like holy basil, scallions and Chinese broccoli. Instead there was a very small amount of red peppers, green beans, a few onion slices and zucchini. The wide rice noodles were perfectly cooked and didn't get mushy on the ride home. But the chicken was sparse and very thinly sliced, dry and over cooked. I hate to sound negative! Just being honest. All that being said, I will definitely give them another try because it could have been an off day or an off meal based on all of the other reviews. On the other hand, the order of egg rolls (6 mini rolls) were fantastic. Crunchy outside, flavorful inside. not greasy at all. Friendly service, they accept credit cards, and meals are reasonably priced and plentiful at $11.

My fav lunch spot. Fat salad roll for only $5 dollar! And love their Thai eggplant!!! The service is great and the food come out fast!!

Even though it's not by my work anymore I still love this place. Good quality food, you get a bunch of it and it won't break the bank

This was my first time at this food cart, and o start, the food is very authentic and delicious Thai food. Second, the portions are very large and the prices are very reasonable! The people working here were super helpful and helped me to customize my order to my taste. I was also pleased to see that they also provided seating adjacent to the cart and there is a awning to prevent rain.

Given the lack of really great options left along this strange area of Portland, this place is a lifesaver. Awesome value and large portions, delicious food and drinks that never let down and always leave me satiated and full. Spice level options go hot hot hot! Kind people and wonderful service time after time.They get quite busy around the lunch hour. Two carts (one very beloved) recently vanished from this pod, and this one's always been popular, but even moreso now.

I really like their Panang Curry and the Basil Fried Rice, oh yah and everything else we have tried in their menu. The food is all Tasty! Enjoy.update: We stopped by again and my mouth is watering again--wonderful.

Sutisa Thai Kitchen is rebranded as "Thai Kitchen" and has moved a block away with extensive upgrades to the establishment. 8$ for nearly all items on the menu for fantastic food without the usual price gouging Portland prices. I could eat here everyday. They remember my name and order. The staff is always very friendly. Bring a canvas bag to carry the food if its for take away, the paper containers are a little hot if you want to carry them. They are happy making items that deviate from the regular menu ingredients for individuals special diets. Very inclusive and welcoming.

Would give them a solid 3.5 stars. Very friendly and fast service. Great price for the quantity that you get ($8 per dish). Got the pad thai, which was pretty good - tasted ketchupy as some pad thais do, and I thought the fried tofu was done well. Also a solid medium spice. Wife got the drunken noodle, which was ok - she thought it was perhaps a tad on the dry side and didn't have the complexity of flavors that she looks for in drunken noodle. Glad to have tried it.

SO good! They were super friendly and very knowledgeable about their vegan options, which they have a good amount of. The pad thai was amazing, tofu was cooked wonderfully, and the portions are very generous as well. They were quick too, it took less than 10 min to get my order. I live next door and will definitely be back, probably a little too often

Reliably good Thai food cart with a menu of items found across most Thai carts. Veggies are fresh. Reasonable price point for take-out only service. People are nice. It's very busy around the peak lunch hours. Wish they were open on weekends, but understand that business is probably best during the week considering their location.
