Street Wok is fast becoming our go to Chinese restaurant in PDX.We enjoyed their Shrimp Chow Mein and Three Kinds of Mushrooms served with Bok Choy.Street Wok's dishes are delicious, prepared with care and never greasy.Street Wok does not have a separate Lunch Special menu. However, soup and a bowl of rice is gratis during lunch.Service was fast, friendly and efficient!

This is my second time here after not having the best food experience the first time. I called ahead and placed my to go order to be ready a hour after my called. I arrived a few minutes early and was told it wasn't ready yet. I waited 15 - 20 minutes before my food came out. The restaurant was not busy with only 4 tables being occupied. The decorations and ambiance is mixed matched and fairly sparse. The strengths of this meal was the Mongolian beef and orange chicken. The Mongolian beef was tender and had great spice. The orange chicken had great flavor and tasty sauce. The fried rice was really plain and didn't have much flavor. The chow mein was also pretty bland. The fried cooked string beans and spring rolls were both pretty good. I might come back for a few of their items but as a whole, probably not.

I am not a big Asian food fan. I don't dislike the flavors; I prefer other food styles. My mother, who lives with us, LOVES pan-Asia food. She is crazy about Thai, Cantonese, Szechuan, and Vietnamese. It is because of her obsession that we order a lot of take-away Chinese food. Street Wok delivers. The food is predictable and dependable. The flavors are "traditional Szechuan" (as per my mother). What I like most is how friendly the staff at the restaurant are, kind, attentive and easy going. Yes, it is in a strip mall location off MacAdam, but no - it is not strip mall food. Give it a try. Your Chinese food-loving mother will love it. Trust me :-)

The eggplant tofu is very delicious! I am obsessed with spicy chow mein. Excellent and quick service. Lots of delicious Szechuan dishes that can't be found anywhere in Portland to be honest

Actually a 4.5 because sometimes service slow, sometimes not, some things we've gotten have been too greasy, but lately all has been excellent. We usually share veggie fried rice and dry string beans--filling, just the right amount of oil and spice. Eggplant dish ordered long ago was too greasy. Reasonably priced.

American Chinese staples like General Tao's and Orange Chicken are becoming increasingly difficult to find. The emergence of traditional and regional Chinese food in Portland is a welcome change but sometimes you just want the food you grew up eating. Street Wok is the perfect blend, serving up Sichuan dishes alongside Chinese American dishes with their own subtle takes. What emerges is not only what Americans expect from a Chinese restaurant but also dishes that are a welcome diversion. Hot pot, mapo tofu are found here too. Service was a little rough because only one lady working but she was very pleasant and accommodating. We were quite happy with our dishes and will be back for more.

This is my first time at Street Wok.My friend Paulo has been following the Yelp reviews and said we have to go here.I was delightfully surprised at how fresh and authentic the food is here.We ordered Paulo's favorites:Kung Pao Chicken and Dry Cooked String Beans I asked them if they could add pork to the string beans. They were accommodating (with an up charge for the added pork)The veggie menu is extensive including American favorites including Broccoli String Beans, Eggplants and Tofu. They also have Chinese Choy Sum.The Dry Cooked String Beans were crisp and flavorful, especially with the added pork. The Kung Po Chicken was delightful with super fresh crisp vegetables and ample sized chunks of Chicken. The sauce was perfect and the peanuts too. We're definitely coming back.

So glad that we have decided to come over and give this place a try. The place is clean and very spacious. The food not only tasty, authentic and the potion is large. All the dishes can test the dragon breath. The eggplants cooked just right. Not completely soft. The tofu is moist and juicy inside. The hot boiled fish packed with lots of flavor and chunks of fish inside gives you the satisfaction. The bottom of the bowl has mushroom and napa cabbage as well. The owner recommended us also try Sichuan City, his other restaurant.

Excellent Chinese restaurant. My wife and I tried Street Wok for the first time yesterday. Very good food and excellent service. We had spring rolls, vegetable fried rice, garlic baby bok choy, 3 mushrooms dish, and kung pao veggies with tofu. Fried rice could use some more flavoring and spicing, but otherwise very good. Kung pao veggies with tofu, 3 mushrooms, garlic baby bok choy, and spring rolls were all excellent and plentiful! We called in to make a reservation, and were seated immediately with no problem! They have a nice selection of drinks, both alcoholic and not. Highly recommended!!!!
