This cute little place was open bright and early at 7am, which was the perfect time for a nightshifter. There was a nice selection of French pastries. I opted for my favorite the kouign-amann. I warmed it up a little bit when I got home and it was absolutely delicious. The pastry was flaky with a perfect balance of butter and sugar. I would definitely come back to try more of their pastries.

Stopping in at St Honore Boulangerie was originally an odd, but ultimately deeply satisfying experience. When I first walked in, there were no customers inside and yet a bunch of people working behind the counter. I started to look around and there appeared to be plenty of beautiful french pastries in the cases, to a point where I was unable to make a decision.I had headed in initially to pick up an almond croissant to go, but once there, I was drawn to the large tray of cannelle, the pistachio croissants and then...the small orange cake. After a bit, I bought the orange cake and headed to their outside seating, just as the place was filling up, no joke, by the time I sat down, there was a line for the counter.Anyway, the cake was so good, filled with orange flavor and zest, buttery like a pound cake, yet light and airy.I brought the rest back to the group who were also struck with the excellence of this cake.

Decadent. Calming music with herringbone floors, the sound of people working in the back and people walking past the large windows. The almond croissant was crispy, and not overly sweet or drenched in syrup. It was light and lovely with the added crunch of the almonds. The Kouign-amann was also good. There was a layer of hard candies sugar on the Outside, but salty goodness on the inside. You can taste the quality butter that's used and the layers add another enjoyment to your palette. It's a nice place to chill and read a book. The staff were also friendly.

Not at all what I remember. Terrible service. Smelled like stale mop water inside. It was dirty, trash all over. Yuck. The pastry we ordered was good but we ordered French onion soup for there and instead it was packaged to go. When I asked about how long it was taking the server pointed to the bag on the counter and said it had been sitting there for 10 minutes. We were actually glad at that point to get it to go because the mop water smell was gag worthy. Sadly the soup was not good. It was so sweet, thin just not worth it.

One of my favorite bakeries to visit every time I'm in Portland. I recommend getting a bag of Chouquettes(12 pieces of sugary/fluffy puffs) and the orange Gateau(tastes like a citrusy cake). The mushroom danish was warm and savory. They also have many Fog drinks here, I loved the Autumn Fog.

This place is right by our house, and I walk by multiple times a week, and all always have this urge to grab a bite here. On multiple occasions I have stopped in, and I feel let down. We always get the Croques which are loved by myself and my kids. But I feel like I often get different items here and I'm never impressed. Recently I got the breakfast Panini and paid seven dollars for bread and cheese, and an additional three dollars for some bacon. There were two slices of bacon in it that were fatty and chewy, and not what I would've enjoyed on a breakfast sandwich!

If you're like me and love European cafes, this is the place for you! Delicious food and a very friendly staff. I love that they change the pastries/desserts every day- it makes for a fun variety.

Mediocre deli fast food quality for such an amazing location! My friend and I were sadly disappointed because we were looking forward to make this out new frequent spot after checking out their menu. Service was super confusing! You either offer self serve or you serve us. They were so inconsistent on how and where we could pick up our food. They gave us our cold pastries first, but those needed to be warm were left sitting at the other end of the order counter when they were done without no one calling our names or number. So by the time we asked for them, they were to cold. Casual cafe feel with cramped sitting tables so you would hear everyone's conversations. We got two of their daily soup and saw the back staff pulled them out of a typical to go container to heated them up. At this point, we were even more confused how long ago they were made in-house or they got their soup from elsewhere. Both tomatoes bisque and minestrone were salty and watery. We each had one spoon and they went straight to the trash area right around the corner of our table. They gave us the wrong soup at first. The side kitchen area was full of carts and trays so we know they bake something there. Yet, after our abundance order we just didn't what they made in-house and what were not. We will not be back nor recommend it to anyone.

Both our drinks were wrong. The outside seating is in serious need of atmosphere Needs some large planters to make it feel inviting

Visiting Portland. This bakery has many authentic and delicious bakery items, the bread is great.Do not order any of the turkey croissants in the cold caae unless you are taking them cold; if you say you want them warned up they just microwave them. :(
