These folks make the BEST Fish & Chips... and truly the french fries are THE best compared to ANYWHERE in town. And the Fish -- I love the halibut, but when I wanna go budget and get the Cod... I'm not sure I can really tell the difference.Friendly, helpful!! And outdoor seating when nice weather. I'm a to-go girl ... snackin' on the french fries allllll the way home!!! :D

I was so excited and had this place on my radar for awhile. Just NO, is all I can say. My jumbo size was smaller than expected, but that's just me. The fish and fries were bland and not worthy. I won't complain about the price (19.99), because I will spend for good food or understand cost today. I rarely ever do reviews unless it's worth my time, Good or bad. For me, sadly this place is not it.

Very disappointed with the serving size of my clams strips and cod. The amount of food I received felt like such a small amount that I decided to weigh the portion size to see if it matched the 6oz of protein claimed on the menu and found I was only given 4oz.The cod and clams were fine and I will say that the Cesar salad was very good. While the food was pretty good I am skeptical to go back after seeing the portions.

Purchased a COD Fish and Chips today. Quick order and service. The basket showed bite sized fish, easy to pick up with fingers or use the fork provided. We thought the fish lacked breading, my husband wanted more of a crunchy batter, where I felt the lighter brushing of was more healthy. Fries were very crispy, tater sauce was very good.

A gluten free food truck that has fish and chips! Food was delicious. You can even have GF beer battered fish. There are a few tables to sit at but saw many people ordering to go. Very friendly and gluten aware guy at the window.

I was truly excited to hear that a fish and chips food truck had moved into the neighborhood. We arrived about 15 minutes after they had opened and there were already people ordering. The truck itself looked great with no noticeable issues or concerns. The food pod is great with multiple tables and a beer garden in the back - very clean. I ordered the small cod fish and chips and the cod sandwich. It took about 20 minutes to come out (2 people in front of us) and we headed home. First off, the packaging is great- compostable fork, cardboard condiment containers and cardboard boxes. The sandwich was great! Nice flavor - onion, lettuce and tomato and good buns. The fries were spot on. The fish and chips were a problem. While the breading was crisp, it had absolutely no flavor. The fish inside was done just right but I had to use tartare sauce to enjoy it. I hope they read this review and rework the breading because it's an easy fix.

Food Truck excellence! ... the Halibut Fish & Chips were perfect & exactly as advertised! The batter was light and the fish cooked to perfection and the fries were full length (not greasy and seasoned to death like other places do)! The food truck experience was unexpected yet fun as this location is a small enclave of various culinary genre.the service was excellent as well... I tipped cash AFTER eating--because of the plesant experience.

The fries were better after they cooled off a bit, still very hot, nice that they were made to order, but just average and wouldn't make up for the fish at $30.The halibut was just ok, at least it did not have an off taste, and I have never figured out how cook it. But Halibut's in north Portland is better (not as good there as when they had a brick and mortar on Alberta Street, but their salmon is still really good, when they are there, maybe call ahead) and the Barlow Inn on the way to Mt Hood. The breading was even a bigger disappointment, thin, no flavor, or texture, like they never had a good fish and chips. To sum up the food is average at best, and for $30 not worth it.Crowded when I was there, but still found a table, not sure if any of the tables are covered for rain, forget now. Buzzer means you can relax and do whatever why you wait.
