We are here in April 2024 for a birthday. This place has great ambience from the moment you step in and descend the stairs down to the hostess podium.It was lively but the seating arrangement allows for ease of conversations if you are at a table surrounded by the booth.We ate the Dashi Arabcini, the Soft Shell Crab sandwich and the Pappardelle. You'll want to share to get a taste of everything . Three plates was a bit too much for us with the two drinks we ordered each and I ended up taking half the Sando home.The duck Caesar was Amazing - Fiancé who doesn't consider salad "food" loved it. The duck is seasoned and cooked to perfection and the salad was refreshing with just enough (not too much dill) !! The Dashi was good but the star of the show for me food wise was the soft shell crab sandwich- definitely try it. The bread was amazing, the battered crab was delicious and it is pretty filling.For drinks we had the Painkiller (couldn't turn down purple drank), Lotus Espirit, and one Smokey (literally) whiskey drink for the birthday boy & oh boy was that delicious .

First time at Scotch Lodge. What a treat. If you have a friend or family member into scotch or whiskey, you'll be surprised and enjoy the array of options. Tasty food options. Recommend getting a reservation (a week out minimum) and grabbing a dinning table or booths on the bar side. Street parking available. Enjoy.

We came here for scotch flights and the soft shell crab sandwich. I had heard the sandwich is a must try, but it was just okay. I didn't love the soft toast its served with, the kimchi topping just tasted like cole slaw and the breading tasted a touch burnt. What was outstanding was the fried brie! It was like elevated mozzarella sticks served with honey. It's to die for!!! Server was so nice and helpful, ambiance is dark lit speakeasy vibe. I didn't like that the hostess wouldn't let us sit at the bar since we wanted to whiskey taste. She said it was reserved and sat us at the kitchen counter which was too bright and killed the vibes a bit. Also, we watched the bar and no one ever came to take the seats. But this place is busy so I can't blame her too much. I would definitely go back for the whiskey and the fried brie!

What a great spot! Def seemed like a speakeasy as there is no sign to show you have arrived. The place is not huge and low lit. Loved the vibe. Our server was great and very knowledgeable. Their drink list is long and very elevated. The food was so good and even though we ate before coming here, we ordered quite a bit of food! Bread and butter- bread is fantastic and the butter is softOlives- yummyHeirloom tomatoes- oh man!Pickled spice fries- tasty if you like pickles! Scallop Crudo- so fresh! Caesar with a side of anchovies- yum! Will most definitely be back!!!!!

Made a Resy online and was seated promptly!Very good service, food was delicious, loved the kitchen bar seating.My favorite was the scallops! The candied duck on top of the pappardelle is another must!Free street parking!

You'd never guess how cute this spot is from the outside! Love the vibes, but did not like the inflexibility in designing the drinks. The cocktails themselves were just OK and the desserts were lackluster.* Moon Age Daydream ($16) - 3.5 stars: My fave, gin and yuzu, so less sweet.* Pandan Old Fashioned ($16) - 4 stars: Strong but uniquely scented with pandan. * Through Being Cool ($16) - 3 stars: Really tastes like lemon curd, very sweet.

I've been to Scotch Lodge twice now because it is such a vibey spot in an up and coming neighborhood of East Side. Service is always on point - I've always had awesome bartenders who know exactly what I want!Their drinks are one of the best, and their food is phenomenal. Portions are bigger than what you'd expect from a bar, so plan carefully!

Hidden in Portland. Quite a cozy bar. If you're going to drink scotch or other liquor it is good place to be. But just for food. I would not recommend. Service was good. Very responsive staff. We had the duck confit poutine and sold shell crab sandwich and steak Tartare. For the price food was very mediocre.

If you love speakeasies, then you have to try Scotch Lodge. Walking downstairs into the dark, moody room, you're met with the sights and smells of an upscale cocktail bar slinging electric drinks. I was in the mood for both something sweet and smoky, and that's exactly what Through Being Cool and Loch Stock delivered. We sat at the bar and watched as the bartender crafted our cocktails with care and finesse. Looking forward to coming back!
