Don't sleep on this hole in the wall!! Delicious and friendly service. Not fancy but clean. Hidden in a small grocery store. We had Papa a la Huancaina (potatoes with a surprising sauce)to start. Then we had Seco Norteno (stewed beef with beans and rice)and Arroz con Pollo (chicken and rice) and shared family style. We then wrapped it up with Picarones (sweet potato and squash donuts with fig sauce). There was hardly anything left!!! The beef was so tender and falling apart! So yummy!

This little hole in the wall inside of a market is a hidden gem. As a restaurant that sells both Peruvian and Mexican food it definitely called my attention. It absolutely did not disappoint. The Peruvian food is authentically delicious!! I have been here several times now and will continue to return. The tallarines verdes taste as if my Peruvian family made it. The lomo amd pollo saltado is legit!! Full of flavors and veggies are cooked to perfection. The papas a la haucaina are made just right. The sauce is exact! Just tasty and consistency is how it should be. The Mexican food is also delicious. Feels like a homemade meal. I highly recommend this restaurant. Best Peruvian food in Portland. Not a fancy place, but if you want real Peruvian food, this is the spot. Service is like being at home. Kind and friendly owners.

Located inside the bodega place. I ordered Lomo Saltado and it was really delicious, along with Chicha Morada (drink). Their ceviche was amazing as well. The services was friendly but I had to ask for napkins, forks, and water. If the stuff was available to grab that will great but it wasn't. Overall, amazing food.

Very impressed by their ceviche tonight. I am very picky when it comes down toceviche and this place does it right. Theperfect balance of fish, citrus and spice. I had mine at medium as far asspice and it was perfect. The portionsare very generous and can't wait toorder other items next time. Oh, the cookies are a must as well. All & All, put this on your list when youare craving ceviche. I like what they're doing and I will be back for sure. This was a delivery and it held up well too.

S&P has been on my radar for a while and we finally made it for dinner. It's nothing to look at, upstairs above an excellent Tienda (I'd been there but the restaurant was closed) with a dozen formica tables and a big screen TV with soccer on. No upscale decor here but ... someone knows what they're doing in the kitchen! My kind of place. It's about the food.We started with ceviche, which exceeded expectations. Yucca, potatoes, fish, red onions in a perfect marinade. Medium spicy was perfect. Ask and they'll make it hotter. Tallarín Verde, a pesto pasta (spinach/basil), with either pecans or walnuts blended in for thickness, was large and delish! Also the Cordero Trujillano (lamb chop) was super rich and served with rice and lima beans (?). Plenty for two, we took some of the pasta home.No booze. I'll have to check the rules for brown-bagging but I asked and she said no :-( A great out of the way spot on Powell. Next time we may check out some of the Mexican dishes.

I'm always so satisfied after eating here. Really solid Peruvian food. We have been happy with each Peruvian dish we've gotten, but haven't tried the Mexican food menu. Sometimes we swing by just for a passion fruit juice or a papas a la huancaina snack. We really enjoy this place for take out.

We drove out of our way more than 25 Minutes because Peruvian sounded really good. Couldn't find the restaurant. Signs on the building that it seemed to share with a Mexican store and weed shop. We couldn't imagine that was true so we walked Around the whole building and it was really unclear where this place was. The door underneath the building sign was boarded up but it had a little kiosk sign pointing toward the weed shop. We ended up walking through the weed shop and saw an unmarked door, opened it up and briefly saw a few men hanging out around a table. By that point, our family had enough of the lack of info. I can't believe this place stays open.
