Salsas Locas - Tortilleria Y Tienda DeLeon's

I attended an event where Salsa Locas was catering, and it was fabulous. The staff were friendly and completely bilingual. Service was fast and the food and tent were nicely presented. I had two corn tacos with Pollo fajitas, with rice and beans, and they had a wide variety of salsas to add on top. The watermelon juice and pineapple juice were fabulous. Highly recommended for your next catering event.

I've been in a Mexican Food a truck kick lately - craving carnitas street tacos - so when I spotted DeLeon's, I had to stop in. They have a nice set up with several of the food items on display where you order and pay. and a separate covered and heated outdoor space if you want to eat there. the tacos are $4.50 which is pricy and typically what a restaurant would charge, not a food truck. That being said, their corn tortillas are larger and you would probably need just two, not three. I decided to get just one taco and a Chile rellenos ($6.) That was a smart move! The Chile rellenos was puffed and a bit crisp on the outside with lots of melted cheese inside and the sauce it came with was rich and flavorful. The carnitas tacos were topped the way I like, with chopped onion and cilantro, a wedge of lime. They also put salsas right on the taco, and it was very good., I've had them at farmers markets and New Season. You can buy containers of their carnitas for $11.99 a pound and buy their homemade corn tortillas, 5 for $1 and then make carnitas tacos at home. I'm going this route next time!

A kind of food cart of sorts I was anxious to try as I live nearby and pass it often. Carne asada "bowl" that my wife had was better than the tacos. Not much flavor on the tacos and all taste the same. Ordered chips and guacamole. Chips were not salted and mostly stuck together. Guac was fairly flavorless. No salsa come with the chips. The worst part was we tried a chicken Tamale also - and it was dry, even dryer chicken and also without flavor other than warm cornmeal. Paying restaurant prices also to sit outside is not something that's very enticing either. One and done here.

Decent food, but far too salty for my taste. If they just backed off the salt levels, maybe 4 stars. Also was disappointed there wasn't more veggie topping options to complement the meat. Just basic rice and beans.Still a good option if you want to get a bunch of their meat by the pound to go and make yourself tacos for a couple of days.

Not going to lie...expected better food but the service was great.Girl at the counter was very friendly and helpful. Would I come back... Yes but would try a burrito. Tacos lacked flavor and meat was tough to chew.

Had driven by this place many times, and finally the time was right to stop in. I won't wait so long before visiting again, Great to see all the ingredients/choices right in front of the window. Had the chile relleno, maybe the best ever, very cheesy, with the wonderful red sauce poured over it! Also did the birria taco, big heap of meat, the first tortilla burst almost immediately. a little hotter and different than the nearby truck i love--but probably no two the same. The two ladies working give add to the home-cooked feel and flavor. And you can buy the meat and guisado by the pound!

Does not have vegetarian options as this profile suggests. I asked them for "anything vegetarian" and they said they didn't have it

I came here for inside seating, but Yelp has not been updated. The service was good and the food was delicious. I had a huge breakfast chorizo burrito. Muy Sabroso!!! No need to circle and circle the blocks for parking. They have plenty of spots. That is a plus

Amazing food! Best sizing for So yummy and chile is perfectly spicy. They sell burritos at other locations that are frozen and are just as good!

I ordered three tacos(Birria, Carnitas and Carne Asada) expecting to love 1 or two. I loved all three equally. The portions are big, so three tacos was alot. But they were too good and I finished all three. The ladies were amazing. Heated and covered outdoor patio. Definitely will be back
