To start, I won't go back when it's over 75 outside, their air conditioning isn't very great inside. The wonton soup was very good, very generous with lots of shrimp. The crispy fried chicken is quite a large serving. Nothing about it said Vietnamese however. I had hoped for a marinade or perhaps some characteristic seasonings in the batter. I got fairly generic fried chicken chunks, definitely fresh, hot and crispy. It's a nice serving with rice and a goopy sweet and sour sauce.

Hometown USA. Always looking for Asian food close to home and rarely find it. This place I could literally walk to from home. Yea!The food was really good and the service fast and friendly. Green curry was awesome but a bit spicy. The fried egg noodle combination was killer. Definitely eating here again.

One of my favorite Asian restaurants in Vancouver. They have the best pork chop special and the best salad rolls. My sister loves to get her pork chop deep fried. She's says it's a game changer. We have been coming here since we were in middle school and the staff has always been so nice and friendly. The portions did seem a bit bigger back then but the food all tastes great. Their dishes are all decently priced compared to other places.

Pho, in my opinion, is all about the broth first. Saigon Restaurant does it right! Their pho broth is packed with flavor, making each spoonful so tasty. I ordered the chicken pho which came with a solid portion of chicken, noodles, scallions, and white onion. Then I topped it off with bean sprouts, basil, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime. If you like the flavor of chili, I recommend trying their chili condiment for added flavor and spice. Although the restaurant sits in an unassuming strip mall and looks bare bones inside, come here for a hearty bowl of pho! It also helps that they're open later than other pho places in Vancouver.

My Vietnamese friend brought me here so I had pretty high expectations and must say I was NOT disappointed. I had the spicy seafood pho and it was honestly incredible. I'm such a sucker for a good broth and this was a hit. Pro tip: scoop in a generous amount of chili sauce, squeeze in some lime and rip up a few pieces of fresh basil for that extra something something

I don't understand the good reviews at this place but they tricked me into having dinner here... Let me just say that this place does not serve authentic Vietnamese food, at least from the one and last dinner I've had here... Next time I'll drive 15 min to Portland to have pho. We got the pho super bowl for $13, which had very little flavor at all. The meats tasted old, there was so little variety of anything in there and they topped it with a pile of cilantro... but the vermicelli bowl was the real kicker. Yes it's a nice portion, way more than we could eat but the meat is not authentic for this dish. It also had grilled onions, if that tells you anything. The beef and onions is what you'd find in a broccoli beef dish at Panda Express. Vermicelli bowls are supposed to be a colder dish that is light with lots of textured. And I didn't get that with this. The service was also not good. No one greeted us when we walked in, nobody even looked up when we entered. We almost walked out after being ignored for so long until the man in the back grabbed 2 menus and raised 2 fingers asking how many were in our party. Also no one refilled our water or asked how we were. The woman working was nice but that's all I can say about the staff. All in all, a bad experience and we will definitely not come back. Maybe the Thai food is better.
