I'm here to talk about chicken parm. Don't order it from here. I've ordered it about 10 times over the years. So some would say I'm a resident expert. It's bad. You can tell the meat was for sure frozen before being cooked, the meat thickness is never the same and the flavor is just plain bland. Without a ton of Parmesan cheese and sauce it's really not very good at all. If you really want to have a good consistent chicken parm, and don't crucify me for this, go to Heidi's. It's the same every time there and I SWEAR TO GOD, it's so good. Pompello needs to improve their consistency and quality on the chicken parm specifically. Can't speak for other items.

I'm always so happy to come here. They have amazing service, yummy appetizers and the place is always clean! We have been coming here for years and will continue to. Everything I've tried here has been delicious. I would have to say my favorite so far has been the lasagna! Sooo much food for your money too.

What a great restaurant. AND, they cater to gluten free guests. For the first time in many years, my wife could order spaghetti and meatballs...and she loved it. I had the Bolognese and Pasta. Excellent. My daughter had Chicken Parm. Excellent. The service was great and the gentleman helping us was great. We sat on the outside since we brought the dog (they have 3 or 4 outside tables. Give this place a look. You won't be disappointed.

This is the place! Wonderful Friday night special for $12.95 includes Caesar salad or soup, bread, and "all you can eat" spaghetti & meatballs. The portions were generous so we didn't need a refill. A glass of wine gets you a nice pour. Several wines are available for $18 per bottle. (Correct: bottle, not glass) The meatballs were delicious. We were seated and served promptly. Our whole bill including tip came in under $55. The ambiance was pleasant with quiet jazz playing. We've been patrons for years and Pompello's is always a treat!

This is my comfort spot. The pasta is incredible. The bread and balsamic is okay, I would prefer garlic bread. The complimentary soup is amazing!! Don't eat too much or you will spoil your pasta. I love the penne pesto pollo. I always add sun dried tomatoes. It's my dream pasta. The sun dried tomato tortellini is good too!! They have a good happy hour/drink menu and dinner specials. I take all my friends. I brag about this place. I come to celebrate my birthday. I come when I'm sad and need a pick me up. I have had tough conversations here. I have gotten offered a job on the phone here. I had my softball end of season party here. This place is the real deal. The owner is so kind and sweet and welcoming. The outdoor seating is so nice in the summer. I love this place.

We really liked this restaurant on a visit to Troutdale. Happy Hour options are really great! Service was really nice and they have a huge menu.I got the veal parmesan with risotto. It was great, but not what I was expecting. Not marinara sauce. The risotto was ok. The ceal was perfectly breaded and cooked.Hubby got the chicken parmesan and really liked it. The others in our party ordered the meal for two off the happy hour menu and really liked all that they got. Especially for the price.The only issue we had was with the appetizers. The bread that they serve is essentially under toasted white bread with a bit of seasoning. It did hold up well to the (cold) artichoke dip and bruschetta.I did recommend this restaurant to my family who lives in the area and I would go back when I visit. The happy hour menu can't be beat!

They catered a lunch for our church today. The catering manager was amazingly helpful when I placed the order. The delivery person was extremely helpful, and made a lot of wonderful suggestions. We had plenty of food to go around, and everyone loved it (including me)! It was delicious! Best of all, I got to hear a bunch of people's wonderful memories of this restaurant. I didn't think to take pictures of the setup, but they provided everything we needed. I would definitely hire them for future catering needs!!

Do not trust their Gluten Free offerings. I mentioned that I was Gluten Free while placing my order twice before the meal, and I also checked when it was delivered that it was Gluten Free pasta. Two days later I broke out in a terrible gluten rash that I still have after three weeks. I went to speak with the management and was told that there is always the possibility of cross-contamination. Due to the severity of my rash I wonder if the pasta was not gluten free or if proper procedures to prepare gluten free items was not followed. Will not take another chance on dining here.
