Ranee's On Main

This is my second time here and the food is delicious! The service is fast and efficient. You are seated pretty quick and the server checked in on us several times. The last time I came I ordered the French toast and it was really good! The bread had a cinnamon flavor and it was perfectly crispy on the outside. This time I got the chicken and waffles and it is now my favorite! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and the waffle was lightly sweetened. My husband got the country fried steak and it's his favorite item from the breakfast menu. This place has now became one of our local favorites!

Ranee's on Main is a restaurant that isn't afraid of trying new things while keeping a stacked menu of tried and true classics that you can expect to see at most eateries. This is my second time coming through and as my server said "there's really nothing bad on the menu" and I concur.The first time I came here I had their Eggs Benedict for breakfast and this last time I decided to try their King Salmon Fish & Chips off their Specials menu of the day. Their specials rotate fairly frequently so you can expect those to change every few weeks to keep things fresh, and as you can see there is a variety on that menu to keep your tastebuds on their toes.The atmosphere is modern and mildly quirky American all day restaurant, the a/c was running nicely and the staff is all friendly and busy always. If you're looking for a guaranteed place in downtown Oregon City to get some good eats without straying too far away from your normal expectations for a restaurant/bar, this is your place. Breakfast was great last time I was here, and lunch was great this time too. Can't see myself not enjoying every item on their menu.

First time here, stopped in by chance... love that it's adults only... love the decor very Oregon Pride!! The service was amazing.. the food was also amazing. Best Ruben I've ever had..A note of suggestion or advice though. The monte crisco bread was waaay too thick and they burnt it... but still it was good. Great flavor! Just something to watch for..The navy bean soup 10/10!! And I love soup. Love that they didn't just serve clam chowder.. hate that...Bloody Mary was great but a tad tooMuch tabasco... giving it a vinegar taste that is a bit over powering... the seaoning salt they use is fireeeeee if it were me I'd add more of that to the bloody mix..Just some corrective criticism and I hope it dosnt come across rude because absolutely 10/10 love this place, we will absolutely be back and I will absolutely be talking about this for awhile!!!10/10 comfortable seating!! And the bathrooms are incredibly clean!! And beautifully decorated...I've read a couple of the negative reviews but clicked on their pages and saw they only leave negative reviews.. so if you're reading those be mindful they're usually just hateful people..Oregon city needs more establishments on the level of Ranee's on Main...

We love visiting Ranees as it is usually one of the only decent and consistent bites in Oregon city! Their French toast is to die for and we got the insider information that they get their apple bread from market of choice!Be aware that the weekends bring crowds and a wait. Make sure everyone in your party has a valid ID as they only allow adults, no minors! We sat in the bar, service was decent. They were slammed and had a wait to place our order, however our diet cokes never ran dry.

We realized last time that they charge an excessive fee to use your credit card. In a time when almost everyone uses card that's just ridiculous. Build it into your prices because if I'd seen an extra couple dollars for every menu item I might not want to come here. And they definitely either need to research a better CC option or are making a profit with the percentage they charge (I have a business that take CC too). Thought the drinks were a little high for a dive bar in OC. And when you order a meal to go you don't want it brought out with the food you're eating there. Do you really think I want food I'm taking back to someone to sit for well over an hour? Or do you think I want it right before I leave like every other restaurant does?

Excellent food and service every time!! The clam chowder is delicious, plenty of tender clams. Honey mustard chicken salad is my favorite. Friendly staff, highly recommend!!!

This place delivers and it's one of our favorite places in Oregon City. Great food, nice people, adults only (1/200 places, it's nice they exist) - great vibes. Specials are always a couple notches above, soups are homemade, and we always leave with to-go containers. We get there before or after the breakfast rush because on street parking can be a bear. Today our table had potato soup, blackened king salmon Caesar salad, Rueben, and stuffed hashed browns. We left with 3 to-go boxes and 6 thumbs up. Pros: food is great, lots of selections, choices for vegetarians, adults only (limits large groups)Cons: parking can be rough, there can be a wait on weekends especially 9-12, no one under 21 can be a bummer sometimes, a little pricey.

Excellent food and service. I've had both their breakfast and dinner multiple times and never left unsatisfied. It is 21 and over so we can't go as often as I'd like but

Love this place. Unfortunately the food on this visit was not up to their own standards. I had the chicken and waffles with a side of hash browns. The hash browns were cold and oily. The chicken strips were cold and oily. The waffle was cold and rubbery. The place is always hopping with a wait to get in so the wait staff is busting their asses try to make sure everyone is taking care of but they seem to be understaffed. I had to flag down my server just for a drink refill. Even though today was a bad day I still recommend this place.

This place was so rude to my dad he refused to go here again. They were also rude to my nephew in a separate incident, who also wouldn't go again. They were rude to me once because I walked in to sit at a table a friend was at and they said I should've asked first. Not sure what the issue was, but their prices are high. It wouldn't be such a bad place if their staff was nicer.
