Great variety of drinks and food, plus their daily happy hour deals are very generous. Dimly lit inside, outside seatings are right by the water. Enjoyed their Cajun Tots which were crispy through and through!Staffs were also very friendly.

You must read the whole thing to make sense of the rating. This is an excellent place with lovely outside seating, good service, great food, and an awesome locationWe got draft beers and cocktails which were all good. The appetizers like the crab cake, the Cajun fries, and the awesome dip that came with it were addictive. The chicken bowl in the main course was delicious too and all of this was tied together with good serviceWhy the low rating then? We returned the next morning to get a growler of beer which they had prominently advertised at their register. What they gave us was a shoddy plastic bottle without an airtight cap. The picture shows what was left of the beer without us opening the bottle on our drive from Portland to Seattle.Plastic bottles are not growlers!!! Please do not trick people like this. We called to complain and were given the wrong email id to write to and we tried 3 times and each one bounced. I wish they had just told us they had no growler bottles and this could have been a 5 rating review.

Still want to love this place, it's still just ok. Food is mediocre. Cocktails are too sweet. Service is great and I like the location, but at the end of the day it's about the taste and quality of the food and drinks.Gave them another chance because a friend wanted to meet there and sit outside, enjoy the late summer weather. The steak tacos sounded good and they even look good when they arrived. The double corn tacos were large and had steak, lettuce, tomatoes and some kind of dressing. They are called street tacos but we're missing cilantro, onion and lime, key ingredients for a street taco. The steak was actually scraps, not even full chunks, and the taco needed way more. There was zero flavor. It was filling because if the double tortillas, but not in any way tasty or satisfying. My friend had the chicken curry and it was flavorful, but I wouldn't want a full bowl. I've had the burgers before, they arrived cold and were far from a juicy flavorful burger that you can get at so many places all around Portland.The only thing I've ever like are the chicken wings. The bbq sauce is a bit overpowering, but they are tasty and fill a craving. The ranch and blue cheese sauces that accompany the wings both need more flavor, especially the blue cheese which tasted exactly same as the ranch. There were no chunks of blue cheese anywhere. If they were a four star, I'd visit frequently as it's walking distance. But for 2-3 stars, I'll walk right by as I've done for 6 years now. Life is too short to eat mediocre food.

A small sports bar near the waterfront in downtown Portland. This unassuming place has some seating inside but a majority of it is outside. A great place to bring your pup with you and have a bite to eat and drink for happy hour around 4pm. I had the fish tacos and an iced tea during happy hour because I had to work in an hour. Wait staff was polite kind and helpful. Tacos were great, strong flavors but not overly spicy. I ordered some fish and chips to go but was somewhat disappointed, they Definitely favored the tacos over the fish and chips. If you are out and about, give it a try.

Stay away from the chicken. We ate there a couple weeks ago. I didn't get sick but my wife got food poisoning from the chicken dish she ate. Specifically the curry and coconut curry chicken. Be warned or bring lots of TP...

Great location, just next to South Waterfront Park Garden. Had a nice walk after dinner along the river. The waiter who helped us is nice. The food is delicious, like the blackened salmon and chicken coconut curry, tried the beer Breakside Wanderlust IPA and specialty drink Strawberry Drops which are awesome

Sat outside under umbrellas and arrived just in time for happy hour 3-6 pm. A family owned restaurant/pub with limited seating indoors but a 1/2 dozen tables outside. The server was fabulous and attentive. A nice HH menu with a huge selection of food, beers and mixed drinks.

Portland Sports Bar & Grill is NOT a friendly place to stop and buy a soda to go. My wife and I stopped here for a soda (coke) and ice. The bartender looked at us contemptuously when we entered the bar. When I paid, he rudely threw the pen to the counter for me to sign. Of course, I didn't feel like tipping him after that and we're not coming back here again. #rude
