Portland Fish Market

Their food is great especially the salmon and oysters. The service is very friendly. I recommend it.

Freshest seafood (brought in from the coast, daily) and best fish & chips in Portland. It's not cheap; It's the best.

I've been to Portland Fish Market a couple of times now. I found them through the Too Good To Go app and was interested in trying out their Seafood. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the Portland Fish Market has a good selection of delectable food. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and I enjoy my visits there.The first time I went, I purchased Salmon Belly and the second time I went, I picked up Miyaki Oysters. The food is extremely fresh and they will give you instructions and tips on how to prepare your purchase, which is one of the best parts of going there. I have absolutely loved everything I have gotten from there.I haven't tried the Fish and Chips, but definitely will on a future visit.

My friend and both agreed that we will stick to our usual British Pubs for fish and chips, in the future. The halibut fish was good, not greasy at all. The breading was relatively light, with a nice fried crispiness. But the cod fish, was fairly bland. I'm not sure if they don't put any seasoning in the batter, but it seems that they do not. The pieces were good sized, but just not very good. Also, tartar sauce and the coleslaw were very flavorless. No tanginess to speak of at all. And the price... I don't mind paying for good quality food. Especially, good quality fish and chips, but $57 for average tasting food, is no fun.

Good value for your money on their fried fish and chips. Outside tables and benches so make sure you go on a good weather day.

If you're looking for good seafood, and this is the place to go one of the few places in Oregon that have great seafood. Well, let me rephrase that, in (Portland)... It's hard to find good well-made seafood unless you want to go all the way to the coast, which is about two hours or a little more, but if you don't feel like making the trip come here, I recommend fish and chips, very cliché, but delicious and worth it and so are the other varieties they have on the menu and I can't just recommend one because I recommend all of it.

Wow this is the best fish & chips in Portland. I have had some delicious fish & chips on the coast, but here in Portland I've been looking for some to rival them. Portland Fish Market does that. Everything was so flavorful. I ordered the rockfish and halibut so I could try a couple things. I typically like halibut better than cod, and I wasn't sure how I would like rockfish. Turns out the rockfish is comparable in taste to the halibut but about $10 less! Absolute win. I will be back for fish & chips here, and am likely ruined for fish & chips in the rest of the city.

My family's favorite place to get together when we are visiting PDX. Never disappoints!

Very POOR customer service! Unless the food is exceptional will not be making a return visit. We decided to check out the Portland Fish Market because of the positive Yelp reviews. Unfortunately, we did not walk away with a positive experience! We placed our order and advised the cashier we wanted our food to go. The cashier asked if we needed a buzzer or would be hanging out. We told her we would just hang out. I know it takes time to prepare food to order. Waiting was not an issue....Until we lost count how many people came after us, yet got their food before us.We finally inquired about our order...the cashier quipped we are extremely busy with Door Dash and Uber Eat orders. During the time we were waiting...there was one Door Dash order for pick up. The rest were people that had just walked up like us to place their order. After another 5 minutes or so, the cashier opened the window and asked for the name on the order. Then she advised it would be another 4 minutes. So...what happened to our order? We must have waited 20 minutes or more. We think our order was given to someone who came after us.We ordered the 3 piece Cod Fish and Chips. 2 of the pieces were decent sized. The third was a thinly sliced piece of scrap. I believe in giving credit when due. The fries were hot and nicely seasoned. We ordered extra tartar sauce which we got charged for but never received. Luckily we checked before we left and received the extra tartar sauce we paid for. Always on the lookout for good fish and chips...Portland Fish Market was not the place!

Great food, nice folks, a bit expensive but safe for gluten free friends and super tasty. Right next to their shop so you can buy fresh fish after. Huge fan, one drawback is there's not much indoor seating. The fried oysters rock and their sauce is amazing
