Poke Box Sushi Bar

Ignore the messy table, this was taken at home because I got it to go! Now that that's out of the way let's get down to business. What you'll find in a poke bowl here is exactly what you'd want! The tuna wasn't quite as soft as I like but it was all the essentials. It will definitely do in a pinch!

AMAZ-ing!!! Totally go and try their sushi -- it's the best one I have had in a long-long-long-long time. What did I eat? Bokuto, spicy seared salmon, godzilla, truffle shuffle, salmon belly and hamachi belly sashimi. Great sake -- don't know the name :-/Atmosphere was chill with service on the same side. The sushi nigiri melted in my mouth and was on the royal side, with no strings and an almost flowery taste of sweetness: just like superdelicious. I cannot wait to go back!PS we got lucky with parking on the street

The name of the restaurant is a bit misleading, their main thing is not Poke, and they don't do bento, but it is a very good sushi restaurant. The rolls are delicious; the nigiri is generously portioned. The poke bowl is really well balanced. To top that off, 20% off happy hour on the weekdays during lunch hours is a great deal! We enjoyed everything we ordered and will definitely come back.

Service: Our server was very accommodating and very friendly! She came over to us multiple times to check up on us. Ambiance: We came in on a slow day, so it felt peaceful and quiet majority of time we were here. It's nicely decorated and modern inside Poke Sushi Box. Food: In my honest opinion, I have had better sushi elsewhere, but the presentation was very nice. My friend and I ordered 4 different types of rolls (we forgot which they were). The quality of the fish we had was good but wish these rolls had more flavor. Also keep in mind, the sushi spot is a bit overpriced. We both ordered miso soup and we agreed it was probably the best miso we've had, the broth was so rich and flavorful.

I was a big fan of this place! The vegetarian poke box might have stole the show. Service was great and the outside seating was a nice touch on a 70 degree day. They also served the sushi on a little boat, which was a nice touch. A little pricey but you pay for quality and everything tasted fresh. Will be going here again for sure!

I'll be honest, wasn't super impressed with the roll options. The best thing we had was the veggie rice bowl appetizer. But when we went we got to sit outside when it was a nice day and that was quite lovely. Service was good, nice selection of sake

Sushi was fresh and service was attentive and prompt! Came in on a Thursday for lunch, fairly quiet ambiance with a few other customers coming in and out.

Don't waste your time. The vibe was off the moment we walked in, weird smell to the place, and lighting was not good for a sushi spot. With that said, I can't say anything bad about the food cuz we did not eat there. Go down the street to Zenbu Lounge! You will be happy you did.

A great little spot in a beautiful neighborhood! We stopped by for a quick bite and thoroughly enjoyed some perfectly made hamachi hand-rolls. The owners were lovely to chat with and treated us to tastes of the most interesting and delicious sake I have ever had. Truly wonderful food and fantastic people. Will be back for sure! One of most disappointing sushi restaurants I've been to in a while. The food was so bad that my girlfriend and I decided not to order any additional rolls and ended up getting IKEA food to fill our stomach (we were going to IKEA anyway lol) FOODRight off the bat, the food presentation was mediocre. I can tell that they're trying to make it fancy, but it wasn't impressive.The rolls we got tasted very bland. It has no flavor or what so ever and the rice and cucumber flavors overpowered the fish flavor (probably because the amount of fish was so minimal). I had to pick out the tuna to eat it by itself to realize that the fish they're using is actually pretty good! SERVICEThe service is the reason why I'm giving it a 2 stars instead of 1. The waiter was super nice and continued to check in on us. Granted, we were the only people that occupied the entire restaurant during dinner hour. Not sure if this is any indication on how good this restaurant is. ALL IN ALL, the sushi rolls (at least the ones I ordered) are mediocre at best. On top of that, the price per roll is insanely high ($18/6pieces) for what it's worth. Definitely will not come back again.
