WHAT SORT OF PIZZA MAGIC IS HAPPENING HERE and why am I just now finding out about it?! Y'ALL. This is the best pizza in the city. I promise you. I almost don't want to let the secret out but I also wanna shout it from the rooftops!! When I started my order, I was slightly aghast at having to pay $25 for a 16" pizza. Let me tell you now... IT IS WORTH IT. And honestly the 10" pizzas are totally big enough for a 1-person pizza. We got 4 different pizzas (The Butcher Pie, Hendrix '69 Pie, Rock N Roll Pie and Ace Rose Pie) and some wings and each one was incredibly tasty. Those cheesy meatballs on the Rock N Roll Pie?? COME ON!! My fave was the Ace Rose Pie with that fig preserve and balsamic reduction with Gorgonzola and prosciutto. Guys.... Super epic. This place will be getting a lot of business from me moving forward!

This place is surely an enigma. Finding an entrance to and figuring out the flow is the first challenge. Between an empty food truck, a tap house, and what looks to be a run down convenience store you opt for the latter only to find not one, but two pizza restaurants...using one oven...oh and don't forget both are somehow nestled into an Eastern European market with a large beer selection...this place is so...Portland...Now...we came for the Pizza Wings & Rock n Roll...and considering they are both functioning out of one kitchen, i can assume that the pizza from Love Verona is equally impressive but i didn't want to take the time to agonize over what options they had...even if they were likely the same pizzas with different names. This place is obviously meant to appeal to two different audiences that are buying their pizza through a delivery service. I mean a Rock n Roll kinda guy isn't looking for gourmand pizza with fancy names but honestly, despite naming pies after Axl Rose, Gene Simmons, and Tommy Lee amongst others...they roll with toppings like fig jam, burrata cheese, prosciutto, and balsamic reduction. That doesn't really make me think i'm eating a Rock n Roll kinda pizza either but when you are choking down Tommy Lee's Pepperoni Lover Pie, who is to argue? All of that being said...the pizza here is fantastic. 10" pizzas, perfect for one or for sharing cost less than $12 and are way more gourmet than you would expect from a Rock n Roll joint (see above rambling). The Ace Rose (which I think was meant to be Axl Rose?) is an amazing creation with gorgonzola, sweet fig preserves, proscuitto, and a Balsamic Reduction...not only is it beautiful but wow...was it tasty! We also had the Dio Pie which had a delicate herb flavor with a strong Gorgonzola, and a light sweetness from Pear and smokiness from the Bacon...there is definitely a creative mind at work in this kitchen...I can't wait to visit again and give other rock stars a whirl!Down side...as mentioned before, there's no where to sit...however, if you skip the drinks here and wander across the parking lot there is a little tap house with a tent and outdoor TVs as well as indoor seating and for the price of a drink or two, you can sit here and enjoy your pizza. They have plenty of signage outside advertising both pizza joints to at least be welcoming even if the barred windows and closed door doesn't seem too inviting. For what it's worth, this is a great option and both businesses should be used together!Enjoy this great little hidden gem!

Best pizza in Portland. The food came Quick we ordered from door dash. We got four pies all amazing easily the best pizza in St. John's. Also it's open till 12am. Will most definitely be going back soon!

Stopped by on a whim in the delightful St. John's area. Confused at first as to where the pizza place was as you order at the convenience store check out counter. Must be mainly take out except for two small outdoor tables. Went next door to the beer garden and drank a beer so we could sit down. The best pizza was the Ace Rose with fig jam and balsamic glaze! Yum

Ordered through Uber Eats. Ordered 2 pizzas, and a carbonara with Grilled Chicken Added. No grilled chicken added. Pizzas were ok. Just don't judge them by the photos. Crust looks like some frozen crust.
