For sure visit this building located in the Market District. It used to be a carriage factory if you can believe it. Pine Street Market is one of the incredible repurposes of an old building an old building in Portland. Has lots to check out inside to drink and eat. This is good for lunch or even later. A place that has received many awards. It's been recognized by the city for energy conservation and retail excellence. The building has a long and interesting history. First it was known as the Carriage & Baggage Building. This operated from 1886 until the early 1900s. Horse stalls were on the second floor. The building was later the location of the Old Spaghetti Factory, and then a few nightclubs. In 2016 it opened as a market. There's many vendors including Shanghai's Best, which has dumplings and more. Cool place to go drink and eat or to even just look around. It's open daily making it convenient. This is good for a meal, shopping, and other things.

Really enjoyed my first experience here. I brought my oldest daughter and she was very pleased. Staff was great and the venue was clean and just a lot of good energy. I definitely wanna come back and try the places I wasn't able to check out

My initial impression for a market place (compared to others I've been to) is that it was on the smaller side and didn't have a lot of options but there was variety that's for sure. The establishment was rustic and cozy with a fun layout and lots of seating. Also a great video of the city! ** Matsunoki Ramen ** The food was 10/10 I would totally come back for the ramen. I've just recently in the last 2 years developed a love for (what I like to call "grown up") ramen and I just can't get enough. This dish was on their current seasonal/special menu; absolutely worth the try! The egg was cooked perfectly too. If you've never been to a market place like this before it's set up so that you can choose from a select few different restaurants in one location. You go up to the counter, order your food and pick it up at the window when it's ready. Not much "service" like typical sit down restaurants but the service staff we encountered today were friendly. 100% satisfied with my visit.Looking forward to coming back to check out the other great places inside! Especially the mini donut place!

Love the new food hall in downtown Portland. Wish there was a dog friendly area. There were two picnic tables outside in full sun. Parking is a challenge. There's a pay lot for $6/hr but prefer parking kitty on the street if you luck out. Great place to take a group when you have picky eaters or can't agree on a food type. Smoothies, Thai, Ramen, Dumplings and the cutest mini donuts. YUM. They need to bus more often. It's self bussing but the trays were overflowing.

Food was decent. I wish there were more options, different options. Loved the ambiance but I think I'm stuck on needing more options piece. Overall a decent place to try. I do think this is worth a try. I do plan on coming back here and hoping for something more.

Came in twice on my trip to Portland. The first was Wed evening before July 4th and it was dead. We both got the Thai food and really enjoyed it, but not much of a vibe. I then stopped in to escape the heat on Sunday afternoon at 3, and it's hopping. I got 3 mini donuts which were all delic and a nice cold beer.

Found this spot on Yelp with 4 stars review so we gave it a try. The food hall is clean and decor looks cute but I have to say the food is just mediocre.Ordered chicken dumplings at the Shanghai's Best dumpling. Dough was good but It was small and barely any meat within. Also ordered Ramen at Marukin Ramen. The flavors are good but a bit salty. I wished there were a bit more noodles. Everything cost extra.

When we visit this area, which is within walking distance of Waterfront Park and our condos, we almost always find ourselves here! There is a wide selection of great food and drink establishments! The service is like that of food truck pods...only warmer, drier, and I would say it's cleaner! There are family friendly choices and also plenty to tempt your foodie palate as well! Come out and try the local area businesses! You won't be disappointed!

This review is for Matsunoki Ramen - vegan ramen is too good! Super flavorful, 2 big pieces of tofu, lots of noodles, lots of broth. Servers are also really friendly. Will be back!
