Yummy! There was a small line but we were inside and ordered in under 10 minutes. They do have indoor and outdoor seating and we found a table inside that was available. The Biscuits and gravy with an egg were super good! Gravy was flavorful and Biscuits a great texture. We also got the blueberry cornmeal pancakes and those were tasty as well. Will definitely come here again!

Definitely a must visit for Portland. The Reggie is an amazing biscuit sandwich, make it deluxe by adding an egg (opted for this since we came for breakfast). You can ask for the gravy on the side if you prefer to control how much goes on your biscuit. They have a handful of crafted biscuit sandwiches, but you can also build your own. There's a handful of non-biscuit options as well, plus sides. But the biscuit is their signature dish and it was crumbly but moist and not too heavy. I definitely wolfed down the reggie deluxe and probably could've had another as well, it's that good. The fried chicken was perfection and paired with the biscuit and gravy -- deliciousness.Staff was friendly and quick to put in orders -- you order & pay first, then find yourself a seat (they have a large patio area in addition to some indoor seating). Food orders may take a bit of time to come out, but it was well worth the wait. Definitely don't miss Pine State Biscuits if you're in Portland!

We showed up to Pine State right when they opened and were surprised how many people were there already! We ordered the Veggie Reggie, a biscuit with spread (jam), and the biscuit beignets. Our order took a bit since there was a big group before us but we didn't mind waiting since we weren't in a rush to go anywhere. I can see why everyone loves this place though! The biscuits were AMAZING. My son thoroughly enjoyed the beignets and we loved the outdoor space this place had so he could get his wiggles out while I ate my food in peace.

Went on a random weekday and it was relatively empty with more than enough room for two people to eat lunch. The biscuits were super soft and yummy, the gravy was on the thinner side (wish they gave more) and the egg complimented the biscuit mountain decently. Mushroom gravy was so good. Very heavy meal and would honestly recommend splitting a dish with a friend and then getting more treats/coffees in the neighborhood if you're a tourist like me. It fills you up for certain! Price was reasonable and the interior was very quirky and cute. Self-serve. Would rec adding to your itinerary and trying some Portland style biscuits and gravy. If you have particular items you want, you can basically customize your own sandwich too.

This is a must stop if you're visiting Portland! Even if you live here for that matter you should come. Their biscuits are out of this world. So flavorful and soft yet still having a crispy shell. Miracle makers I tell youI ordered the Reggie deluxe and it satisfied me in ways I only thought possible in movies. My only regret is that I didn't have more stomach space to eat another. Both the Bloody Mary and ale Mary were great. What ever mix they are using is incredibly savory and will leave you wanting more. Next time I'm in town, I know where my first brunch spot will be!

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast here. The biscuits are light, not dense. I had biscuits and gravy with an egg. The mushroom gravy was very flavorful so if you are a fan of mushrooms, the mushroom gravy is the one to choose. Sometimes, biscuits can be overly salty leaving you thirsty hours after eating one, but that's not the case with this biscuit. My husband had the shrimp and grits and said it was very good. The restaurant is super casual. You order at the counter and are given a number to place at your table. Your food is brought to you. You are asked to bus your table. Coffee is a bottomless mug. There's ample seating with a counter and four tables inside plus seven picnic type tables in an outside patio. There's also a parklet in the front that has four picnic tables. Parking is street.

Pine State is serving us the BEST biscuits and gravy. The soft, flaky biscuits smothered in a creamy savory rich gravy of your choice is heartwarming in the stomach and feelings xD. This location was wonderful in a popular area to walk around and check other places out. They have outside seating so seems dog friendly but I'd definitely call first just in case.Ok there are other menu options but if it's your first time, please get the Moneyball which is biscuits and gravy and comes with an egg. You will absolutely be full even though it looks small as it is a high caloric meal and a hearty breakfast or brunch option. You can also do build your own biscuit which is cool and add meat like smoked brisket.A second fantastic menu option is the The Reggie Deluxe. It's a giant biscuit sandwich with fried chicken bacon and cheese and an egg since you absolutely need the protein cmon it's breakfast time! There's no gravy btw.Don't forget to add a coffee or drink! We did the Puff Coffee Cold Brew Can which is a local coffee brewery in Portland.Food:- the Moneyball - classic biscuit and gravy with egg- Reggie Deluxe - biscuit sandwich with fried chicken and egg

This place was incredible! We made a special trip from the airport to eat here, and it was worth it. The food was exceptional, with plenty of seating options, and the service was welcoming and friendly, especially to those of us from out of town. Super fun to eat on the patio and enjoy the summer morning.I believe you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The pop tart was a delightful surprise--a delicious and fun way to kick off breakfast. We tried the Reggie, the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits, and the sausage, egg, and biscuit. Every biscuit was fantastic--fluffy yet sturdy enough to hold the egg, cheese, and bacon. I'm just disappointed I didn't try the beignets, so I'll definitely be coming back.

I love pine state, I have eaten hear multiple times and it never disappoints. I've tried multiple menu items as well as their baked goods. Service is always quick and everything is always so fresh and hot. Usually little busy but have never had an issue getting a seat. I did DoorDash this once and even tho the DoorDash took 40 minutes when it arrived everything was still delicious and I don't think the quality suffered.

I got the Reggie deluxe! It was basically biscuit sandwich with egg, bacon and gravy. Think of it as a glorified McDonald biscuit sandwich. The gravy was good especially with their secret hot sauce. However, the biscuit was kinda of hard. Though it was fresh, I thought it was be softer. I also ordered the sweet tea and it was really good and not overbearingly sweetI was here on a Saturday and around noon. There was a line but since I was solo I was able to get a table for one. You do have to wait for your food but they immediately set their expectation. There was plenty of place with additional outside. However, I went on a busy time. Expect to get your food to go if it's like this and if you have a party more than two. I'd definitely go here again if I visit!
