Piazza Italia is my go-to when I'm craving that real Italian family experience. I love bringing my crew, hoping Michele is there to welcome us with a grin and a few jokes that get my kids cracking up. My partner and I dive into a bottle of red, and we're practically transported to Italy as we share plates of their incredible Pappardelle Al Cinghiale--earthy, rich, and so satisfying. The kids finish things off with some gelato, and I sit back, feeling lucky to have a place right here in town that feels like family every time.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!Made a reservation on Friday, for Saturday, the hostess was not there and one of the staff finally came up to greet us after four others just walked past us without even acknowledging our presence. The girl told us she could not find our reservation anywhere even after I showed her the phone call I placed. She said there was nothing she could do and that it would be a long wait. While we were waiting, I found our reservation in the books. It was placed on the wrong page which was on a Wednesday in the books 2 days before I actually called to make the reservation. So obviously it was a mistake, and when I showed her, she still would not accommodate us without a long wait.I don't know any other restaurant who would not put the customer first, and attempt to do everything in their power to correct their obvious error. Instead, they simply ignored us and went to every other customer who came after us and seated them. They finally told us we could wait in their bar around the corner, but by that time we were frustrated, by the lack of care and attention we were given. When staff makes mistakes, it happens, but the customer should not be punished for it, and instead shown every effort to correct their errors. They did not, so we will not be back, which is unfortunate, because we were really looking forward to this and I heard the food is really good. Sadly, I will never know if that is indeed the case. Shame on them.

Very cozy Italian spot. This restaurant is most recognizable for their ceiling decorated full of soccer jerseys. We came for a reservation but aside from our table, the whole restaurant was packed. Our server was great, he took care of us well. It seemed like he was the only server running the restaurant, which was impressive. We got the Bruschetta al Pomodoro for an appetizer. It was light and refreshing, a good way to start out the meal. For my main, I order the Spaghetti Mare e Monti. The pesto sauce was good, it had a great garlicky flavor. The shrimps were plump and juicy. Most of the table ordered the special, which was a chicken mozzarella dish served with pasta. The general consensus for it was that it was okay. We also got a few basket of breads but the breads were cold. Lastly, we finished our meal with some tiramisu cake and gelato, both of which were delightful.Overall, it was a pleasant meal. Definitely recommend if you love Italian food!

If you want some rustic Italian, this is your place. It feels like an old world Italian place with a touch of modern sports bar for some reason. The staff were friendly. To be honest, there was a mixup with our reservation, but they took a minute to adapt and accommodate our group. This was much appreciated! The bread basket is mixed and I will say some are not as good as others, at least in my opinion. It was also cold, which I had hoped it would be warm. All was made well for the olive oil is wonderful! The caprese appetizer was good. Bruschetta was just okay. All the appetizers washed down well with some carafes of the Chianti we ordered, yum! Highly recommended! All our pastas looked amazing, I got the lasagna and it is gorgeous. It tastes even better. It would definitely be a dish I would get again.

Quaint neighborhood restaurant. We got seated on a Tuesday night around 7pm very quickly. Place was packed. I think there were some regulars there. Staff was friendly. The Minestone soup was the best I have ever had. I also had the Penne all'Arrabbiata. It was so good. The food also came out nice and hot. The bread was very tasty too. Would definitely recommend.

I mean how many reviews can I write about this place? This is got to be my third? I've lost count but I've been going here since 2010 and I've brought a few people here and there but mostly go by myself but this is the third year I brought my mom for her birthday and it is now a tradition And what a great way to spend it. I love going to this place because it's owned by immigrants from Italy the last 22 years and I hope it never goes out of business because I enjoy coming here with that ambience, the wine and the food and the conversation and just the kindness and laughter of the owners and the employees. It's family owned and I hope it lasts a long time, so support your local businesses, especially for the immigrants who want to share their countries, tastes with locals. It's a birthday if you have one or our family member you're bringing here because they'll give you a free dessert.

an authentic, home style Italian restaurant with the friendliest service. Pastas are solid although the linguini was slightly over cooked - rigatoni was spot on though. Nothing crazy special but good.

What a great meal, everything was perfect! Enjoyed the whole experience, from calling for a reservation, the friendly service, to the appetizer, the house wine, table bread and the entree. The Prosciutto, with mozzarella and arugula appetizer was simply amazing! So light and fresh. Full of flavor. Must try! I ordered the Linguine Alle Vongole (Linguine w/Clams). OMG... could eat this dish every night! Waiter was fun and attentive. Fun place to eat, great food, good music and a good spot for people watching outside the big windows into the downtown streets.

Piazza Italia, wow, the cutest most authentic Italian restaurant. You know that place/food that feels like a hug? THIS IS IT! I'm talking heavy accents and Italian music?!?The ceiling is covered by soccer jerseys that apparently were special to the owner as he was an ex referee for FIFA in Italy! Alright let's talk the food, it was amazing, truly authentic and delicious. The house wine was awesome as well. They do not have open table you will have to call in to make a reservation. Service was amazing, very knowledgeable and friendly. I can't wait for me next trip back, you won't regret it! The green dish was to die for!

Second time being here, and it did not disappoint. The restaurant itself feels very homey, and the food matched it! I got the lasagna and it was excellent. Once we were seated our server was great as well. Can't go wrong here!
