Large pho bowls are getting smaller and more expensive everywhere, these days. Sad.

Pho Kim, you're a lifesaver! Every time I'm feeling down and can't decide what to eat, you're there to save the day.The staff at Pho Kim is always so friendly and helpful. I once forgot to specify that I wanted egg noodles instead of vermicelli, and they happily switched them out without any fuss. It's little touches like that that make me feel like a valued customer.Their duck noodle soup is simply my favorite. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the side salad is the perfect complement. It's my go-to comfort food.

Super fast and friendly service! All staff speaks Vietnamese, so have at it or practice your Vietnamese if you're in the mood and brave enough. Overall, it is still a solid all around for quality and taste for standard phở and non-phở items. Phở Kim has the best all-around flavor and taste for Phở Bò around PDX. Clean, open, and roomy, with vaulted ceilings fitting for group gatherings.

Bun bo hue-ordered it with extra satay. The soup was pretty bland, it tasted very watered downPho-the soup tasted bland to me, i couldnt taste any aromatics. Not a lot of meat either.Bo kho-this soup had a decent spicy kick to it. The beef was soft but took a bit of chewing. The tendon was hard and barely chewable. But my friend enjoyed the soup.Banh beo-the batter was a bit soft/mushy to my preference, but decent!

I came here recently really excited for some nice warm noodles and was disappointed. We ordered a bowl of pho and a bowl of hu tieu, and both were far from what we were used to at Pho Kim. The pho was lacking meat and the broth wasn't as rich as it typically was. However, I was more disappointed by the hu tieu as there was more fish balls in the bowl, rather than actual seafood, and there was almost no flavor to the broth. The bowl left a weird taste in my mouth. I've been going to Pho Kim ever since I was a kid, but how it has been lately has strayed far from what it used to be.

WOW one of the best pho in town. Its a must go if you're craving for some pho FOODWe got an assortment of dishes. The typical "#1 large", pork and chicken Banh Mi. The pho is absolutely fantastic. The soup tasted genuine and they gave a huge portion of meat as well. The only downside is the large looked about the same size as the regular one. The BanhMi is absolutely insane. It came out in a crunchy yet soft baguette and the fillings are grilled to perfection with ample amount of meat as well. SERVICEYou know the food is gonna be fantastic when the service is not the best and everyone seems to be in a rush. THIS PLACE IS THAT. Service is nothing to rave about compared to other restaurants but they get it done!!!ALL IN ALL, fantastic pho spot, highly recommend and it's our favorite place in Portland so far

Overall: This has been one of my staples when it comes to Vietnamese foods but the service can be a hit or miss sometimes.Location/Parking: It's right on 82nd across the street from Portland Community College. They have a parking lot but it can be really easy to miss because the entrance isn't that wide. Food: One of my go-to options here, much like many others is the Super Bowl. Nine times out of ten, they are pretty consistent but there has been one time when I felt like a dried-out sponge that needed to be thrown into the pacific ocean because of the MSG. If you're looking for the bean sprouts and other sides, fair warning, they do not give you much and if I remember correctly, they charge extra for more.

I have my go to pho spot but I thought I would switch it up to try someplace new. Pho Kim was one I drove by once and finally made it to dine in. Came here after a trip so I couldn't wait to have a hot bowl of pho to bring me back to life. I must say the place was packed when I came in for lunch but service was really quick and we got seated immediately. I just got your standard bowl of pho and a BBH and the two came out pretty quickly. Both bowls were alright but nothing out of the usual. The avocado shake was a nice option as well but I would opt to not get boba next time as some were hard still. Regardless of the bowls of soup the staff here was super friendly and attentive.

The pho broth was lacking. It tasted like it was kind of watered down. I made a mistake and ordered hu tieu ga. The chicken was super dry. For some reason, the banh beo was tasteless. It's normally more flavorful, but it just tasted like steamed soggy batter.I don't think we'll come back anymore. It just hasn't been great the past few times we've visited.
