Phin Caphe & Boba

Such a delicious coffee shop that serves egg coffee and many other drinks. Will come back for sure when visiting Portland next time!

I don't need coffee to function, but I enjoy coming here for the unique drinks that I can't find at other coffee shops. I tried adding boba to my coffee just for fun, but I wouldn't do it again. 100% sugar was too sweet for me, more like drinking boba than coffee. Since then, I've been ordering with less sugar, and the coffee tastes much better to me that way.Ordering at the kiosk saves a lot of time. The space inside is not big and can get noisy and crowded during busy times. They've put out some plastic chairs outside for extra seating, which is where I prefer to sit.

I came here for a quick stop one morning while waiting for dim sum and it was a good pick-me-up. The inside of the coffee shop is pretty cute, with lots of decor and plenty of seating for you and friends to chat, wait, hang out, etc. Service here was a bit slow, but polite.My boyfriend and I ordered at the kiosk and there were quite a few different options. We ended up getting the egg coffee and the coconut coffee (blended), and it took about 10-15 minutes for the drinks to come out. Both drinks were pretty good, but the coffee is very strong (so be aware!). Definitely good Vietnamese coffee, and I would come again. I just wish they would also have some options for lighter coffee! (But that's all personal preference!)

I have been wanting to check this place out forawhile now but I'm never in the area. Finally had the time to stop in today as we were coming back into town. Service was great. The young lady working the register was friendly and helpful when I was placing an order and not sure of what to get. The coffee shop is super cute but small. The drinks were delicious! My husband loved the Ube coffee and said he would definitely come back for it. I had the pistachio coffee and it was okay. I think next time I'll get the pandan.

I always hate going to a new place. I get anxiety about knowing what to order, how to order, etc. I really liked that they had the customer favorites on the menu and had additional seasonal options. Ordering was at the counter or on kiosk with pictures and I opted for the kiosk for my drink but ordered at the counter when I wanted to add a pastry. The coffee and pastry were delicious and the service was fast. Will be back!

I am a regular here and I got to try variety of drinks here. They are known for their Vietnamese coffee, and it tastes so authentic as it can be. I actually came back from Vietnam and tried multiple cafes of teas and coffee there and this place is the closest to authenticity you can get for their coffees!! I tried avocado smoothie, Ube coffee, pandan coffee, pistachio coffee, kumquat tea, and green Thai tea. My favorite is the pistachio coffee!The service is always lovely and helpful and the cafe is super cute and clean. There are seats inside and outside to sip on your drinks or do some computer work!

The Ube coffee is definitely their top seller for a reason! It is soo good, and it is not overly sweet- literally the perfect balance. My fiance ordered the taro coconut smoothie and said that was really good too, I can't comment on that because I didn't taste it and was too busy finishing mine The place is cute and clean and service was super quick! Little to no wait time.

Ordered the taro milk tea and ube iced coffee at 75%. It's creamy, thick, and sweet. I think I would order it at 50% next time. I really get the ube flavor in mine and the coffee itself is bold and strong. I look forward to coming back and trying the pistachio! The place is a bit crowded on a Saturday afternoon. I was hoping to get some work done like a coffee shop, but it's nice to hang around and chat. Would appreciate if parents controlled their kids running around. It's one thing to have loud kids.. I understand kids are kids but opening and slamming the doors and falling and pushing each other as if it were a playground is a bit much..

I showed up during regular business hours, in the middle of the day, and they were closed. There was a sign on the door saying they had closed early, which was very inconvenient because I had arranged to meet a friend there.

I've been going to Phin caphe since they first opened. Living in Portland we don't really have a lot of good options for Vietnamese coffee that is more zazzed up per se like Coffeeholics in Seattle. Ca Phe really disappointed me with their ube coffee and nothing seemed to come close to the Seattle powerhouses of Vietnamese coffee shops.That was until I tried Phin Caphe, I immediately was drawn to their ube coffee which I ordered and my wife ordered the egg coffee. The topping with the ube and cream was creamy and sweet enough to balance out the nice bite and sweetness of the Vietnamese coffee base. The egg coffee is regularly my go to as an alternative if I'm feeling a bit more of a cinnamony creamy spice topping as I describe it. I've recently tried their sea salt topped coffee and that was really good too. I finally found a spot i frequent often and don't need to drive up to Seattle for good Vietnamese coffee LOL
