Super tasty snacks and bites that are perfect to share with friends, coworkers, or on a date! The servers were gracious enough to guide us and share their recommendations so we got nasi goreng, a noodle dish, some cod and chicken dumplings, fruit salad, veggie salad (they're not your typical salads), and a few desserts plus drinks. The cocopandancello was delicious and creamy with a hint of booze, and a perfect little accompaniment to the meal.

One of my new favorite places in Portland. My boyfriend and I stopped by here during our trip to just on a whim. I was so drawn in by the decor and the fact that I do not come across many Indonesian restaurants! We ordered a few drinks and the snack combo which allowed us try a few different Indonesian foods! The food was great and my cocktail, the Coco-Pandancello was actually my favorite drink of my entire trip! The service was wonderful and the woman who I think may have been the owner (?) was the sweetest. I wish we were able to stop by again before leaving but will definitely be back when we're back in Portland!! Highly recommend

Pasar is yummy! We tried a few of the starters, the pork belly and the beef for mains, and a couple of drinks and desserts. Everything is decently priced and the flavors were great! Inside is beautifully decorated and colorful, service was nice but slowed down towards the end of the meal. We came about 4/5 on a Friday and there wasn't much of a wait at all!

Never had Indonesian food and saw this on a IG post. Really impressed! Great service and tasting food. To me what stood out the most was the shaved ice dessert with jackfruit, coconut, and avocado. Pork belly and crispy on the outside and fatty inside (so many ways to make this, many good ways ha). I got the coffee black, pretty strong. The sampler was also quite good with a variety of fried roll type things. (Apologize for not knowing any of the names)

This place has been on my list to try for a while, but seeing it featured in Bon Appetit solidified my decision to go. It's a bit pricey for the lunch portion sizes. Snacks were better in flavor than the bigger entrees we chose--definitely recommend the pastel and siomay. Desserts were a little dry and didn't have as strong of flavor as I expected having eaten pandan and ube desserts of this style in the past, but they were pretty. Didn't get any of the cocktails, though that menu looked interesting. I think coming for dinner might be the better option if you're already familiar with Indonesian cuisine, as the menu selection is wider.

We're fans of Wajan (the sister restaurant) and the owner. The attention to detail, from the beautiful interior to drinking cups has carried over. We sampled most of the small dish menu and the Lemper Ayum was our favorite. The Bala Bala popped with flavor, but was very greasy. The Martabak and Risol Sayur about average. The Sate Padang was very tender, much more so than any I've had, and the thick peanut sauce was delicious so be sure to order a side of rice. The Lontong was the only entree we ordered. It's unlike what I've had in the past. Eclectic taste, but maybe too salty especially as it's topped with potato chips. The creative Coco-Pandancello cocktail goes great with the meal rather than before it because of the sweetness and coconut. For dessert, the Putu Ayu and Klepon Ubi hit the spot on light taste, size, and price point. Our server, Keegan, was a star, very pleasant. Great experience overall. This end of NE Alberta has some big hitter venues.

Stopped in while visiting Portland and was so impressed. Firstly the ambiance is wonderful and evocative and the service is great! We were warmly greeted as soon as we arrived and once we were seated, waitstaff checked in frequently to make sure everything was going well. I don't have the names of the dishes handy, but I got a salad with tofu and peanut sauce and split some fried rice and a fritter with the table. I loved that there are vegetarian and vegan options. Everything was so good! We also got a couple of the desserts to split--very tasty and a nice little bite. If I lived in Portland I would be here all of the time! But it will definitely be at the top of my list for when I come back for my next visit!

This is definitely an exact replica of what you would see and eat as far as snacking goes throughout Indonesia especially in Jakarta... I see the snacks all over the street as far as street food goes and they taste pretty close to the real thing so I'm very pleased that they're bringing Indonesian snacks to PDX. I was a little surprised it wasn't expecting that as there are only a few Indonesian restaurants here, I believe three, and now the snack place. I'm hoping to see more Indonesians pop up in the area and we might even get batik clothing at some point or a martabak stand. I plan on opening Jakarta's Martabak Favourit from Rawamangun in East Jakarta in Portland someday!
