Paladin Pie

WOW.Food was excellent. Bought 2 different slices, pepperoni and the druid. Crust was exceptional, great sauce, super tasty. Honestly such a perfect combo the sourdough crust woodfired is lovely. Great customer service as well! Will definitely be coming back!

Margherita was above average.Mushroom pizza may be the best in Portland.The mushroom is also *amazing* when reheated.

Yum! The crust is delightfully chewy. The topping was fresh and perfectly cooked. We're so happy to have found Paladin after a great day on Cape Horn. We were hungry!

Great food truck in a really nice truck pod that offers covered seating and a fire place! Service was professional, and the pizza was good. This is a great spot when you're in a hurry and just need to grab a slice. You can also order a whole pie. All in all, simple and straightforward place if you're in a hurry.

Delicious wood fire pizza in Portland!This place did NOT disappoint! This was our first stop to grab something quick and nearby and we're glad we did. Pizza was superb, delicious, hot, and quite cheap! I ordered 2 chaotic slices, I barely tasted the jalapeños but it did add a little kick, not overpowering at all! The people working in the cart were super friendly as well. After those two slices I should of ordered a whole pizza because I was craving more. FYI - parking can be challenging during peak hours, but we parked down the street and had to walk a little to get here.

I was just running out for a quick dinner for my son - and found this amazing pizza. Seriously shockingly good pizza. It was quick, and the crust was perfectly seasoned. It sits with a collection of food trucks, not too crowded when I was there.

Going from backyard pizza making during the pandemic to wood fired pizza cart takes the courage of a Paladin. This cart sure delivers some tasty pizza pie. There's some wild combinations of ingredients on pizzas here but I opt for a cheese slice. It's served to me warmed. The sauce is excellent, the crust has the perfect flop although I would appreciate a bit more crispier. The cheese though. The cheese reminds me of the cheese at my high school cafeteria. This isn't a dig. It's a compliment. I'm happy to be reminded of high school lunch. This pizza is way better than anything a lunch lady at my school ever made. The only thing preventing 5 stars is my love for char on wood fired pizza. This slice has zero char. A Paladin has the scars of battle. I expect the same from the pizza.I'll be back to try an entire pie. There's often a difference ordering slices vs. entire pie and I'm eager to try. Until then Paladin leaves me excited about pizza again.

As a NYer I'm very picky about my pizza, and in my opinion Paladin has the best pizza in NE Portland. The crust is thin and soft, but just the right balance between crunchy and soggy. There's just enough edge to hold on to, but not so much that it feels like a breadstick. The sauce is well-spiced and tomatoey, and there's plenty of it without it feeling juicy and drippy. The balance of cheese with the other toppings is perfect. I even love the D&D theme. My only critique is that it's just a cart and sometimes there aren't enough dry seats for everyone. If they made a 1980s-pizza-hut-style brick&mortar location with booths and video games and pinball and a juke box I'd eat there every week.

When it's good, it's amazing. When it's bad, it's some of the worst pizza in town. I've been here about 15 times since they've been open. Most of those visits when they were in their old spot. Whenever we think about ordering from here we have to be in the mood to gamble. Sometimes it's absolutely amazing and other times it's the worst pizza I've ever had. Staff are always great. Food always comes out quick. Great seating. We always have a good time even when the pizza sucks. Give it a try just know that consistency is not their strong suit. I recommend ordering two pies as more than likely one will be bad but the other will be great.

Delicious pizza! They had vegan options. The workers were nice. The food truck area had lots of seating, I'm giving it four stars instead of five because the pizzas were already premade and they could not alter the toppings.
