So happy that kenton has a new restaurant! It's a nice and easy casual, but the food and drinks have been blowing away my expectations! I recommend the steak Au Poivre. It was tender, perfectly cooked with pomme potatoes and asparagus. Topped with peppercorn sauce it was really delicious. Honestly I thought the portions and price are more than fair. Other recommendations:corn chowderwedge saladfriessmash burgeraperol spritz!Coming tonight for the wings!

At 3 stars I'm being generous. The wait staff is great. Nice and friendly, and efficient. The ambiance is nice, upscale PDX, and pleasing to be in. The food, oh hell no! Over-cooked. Dry. Tasteless garbage. I had the "double patty burger" and what they do is, take a regular patty, and cut it in half horizontally. What a pathetic joke. Each patty is as thick as a piece of paper. When again, over cooked it was as tough as boot leather. Awful. We also had Crab Cakes; again, deep fried to a brittle crisp hocky puck, that was nearly uneatable. Awful. Too bad, because as I indicate, the wait staff and the decor are great, but the food, nope, won't go back.

Reader, beware that I am biased for this location, and I'm so happy to have a wonderful, casual neighborhood restaurant back in Kenton (I know Kenton has restaurants, but the former Swift and Union building is special to me).Today's lunch: wedge salad with added chicken. Delicious!Partner: fried chicken sandwich with brioche bun (not his favorite type of "too bready" bun. Very good.No drinks this time, but I have my eye on the North Old Fashioned. Service was gracious and well-paced. Atmosphere is one of my favorite restaurant vibes for casual, great dining: it exudes warmth and charm. The space is designed with minimalistic decor, emphasizing comfort and a welcoming atmosphere. The interior features large windows facing south and east, allowing natural light to flood the room during the day.The walls are painted dark blue and grey, creating a serene backdrop that complements the simple yet elegant furnishings. Wooden tables and chairs are strategically placed to provide ample space for diners, adding a touch of coziness without overwhelming the minimalist aesthetic.The overall vibe is one of understated elegance, where the focus is on providing a comfortable and inviting environment for guests to enjoy their meals. The large windows not only enhance the sense of space but also connect the indoor dining area with the natural beauty of Kenton (I love the tree-lined streets of Kenton).Stay tuned as I investigate further. I suspect that a fifth star is coming. I promise to post photos for future visits (I was too hungry today).

Great service. Great food. Great ambiance.They have great cocktails and many choices of "virgin" cocktails. Looking forward to coming back to try some other things on the menu.

I am a vegetarian so I am always looking for places to get a good veggie burger. The black bean burger here is terrific. Spicey and filling. The fries are great too. Crispy and truffley...However I only gave you 4 stars becuse the service is lacking. I came to pick up my oder and was kept waiting for a while before I was even acknowledged. The place was almost empty with a few tables already eating. When I was finally acknowledged I was told to wait.....another 5 or so minutes and he finally came out. Even then he was not welcoming. I felt like I was intruding. This doesn't appear to be his dream job!!

I was mad that the food was actually good bcuz the service was not we had finished our main courses before the appetizers got out so we just sent that back but the fish and chips was amazing ! And they have a nice restaurant. Just wish the service was better, maybe next time BUT the food saved it overall would try again

The wings were amazing! Great service and outside dining on a beautiful fall day:). Doesn't get much better than this!

Came check out the newest addition to downtown Kenton and I'm glad the previously beloved neighborhood hangout spot is occupied by Northport. We had drinks and shared a steak bites with fries. The fries were cooked to perfection but I wished the steak bites were more med rare which I know is just my personal preference. I'd love to come back for brunch and also check out more menu items!

Really happy to have a nice restaurant in the neighborhood. Came on a Tuesday and there was one table outside and many option inside although a consistent dinner crowd. The cocktails are incredible. Looking forward to checking out a happy hour.

I had the French Toast which was excellent. My partner enjoyed the chilaquiles. The food was great service was friendly. We were surprised we got a seat on a Saturday during brunch. We are definitely going to go back.
