I live a few minutes away and have driven past but today decided to call in an order on my lunch. The person who answered the phone was friendly and walked me through the menu. I hate having to choose just one entree, so being able to do a half and half gave me a chance to try two items for $15. They were out of the carnitas one, which was my first choice but I chose The Vant and The Bon Poul. I requested heavy sauce bc #SaucekweenWhen I tell you that this was one of the best sandwiches I've had in.. idk my life? Great bread, the meat is phenomenal and I love the ingredient choices for each sandwich. I took a few bites before driving back to work and had to stop myself from trying to eat more at a red light haha Definitely recommend this ne Alberta street food cart and will be back with my husband soon to try the carnitas one.

Nothing about this truck stood out.The location doesn't have much foot traffic. The food was reasonably priced and the service was quick.

First time and I'll go back as both Vant and Kochon were tasty. Get the Half option 50/50.Vant was juicier as it's pork belly and the sauce was amazing. Kochon carnitas meat delicious but drier than the Vant with great sauce. Both different yet so good

Came on a Saturday evening and they were all out of the pork belly and carnitas which meant they only had the chicken (Bon Poul) and vegetarian (El comoté) sandwiches available. Overall i wasn't super impressed and both sandwiches had the exact same seasoning and toppings so there wasn't even any variation to explore other than the protein versus sweet potato. Based on the prior yelp reviews everyone appears to like this place but it also looks like everyone had the two sandwiches that weren't available that day. Maybe I will come back another day to see if the pork sandwiches are all that they've been hyped up to be but I wouldn't go back for either the chicken or sweet potato sandwich alone.

Today was a cold day before their is supposed to be snowpocalypse, it was cold and a lot of trucks were closed but the sandwich cart was slinging fire sammiches!!! Had the pork belly sando with herb mayo, I love this sandwich. It's one of my favorite sandwiches in town.

My wife and I were celebrating our granddaughter's birthday at this food cart pod in the Northwest part of Portland (St. John's). Portland is a Vegan, Vegetarian heavy city. Nothing wrong with that since my wife is a Vegetarian. I partake in the veggie scene but not the vegan scene. After scoping out the food trucks I saw NoPoBoys. I'm a fan of Pork. They had several sandwiches with Pork.I went with the Kochon (carnitas pork, slaw, pickles, and house sauce). The sandwich was good but could have been bigger. For me, size matters. $13 was a little overpriced. Might try another food truck if we have dinner in the area again.

It was ok but not my favorite po boy. I usually like classic po boys like shrimp or fried chicken which they didn't have. I went with a half n half ($1 upcharge) of the 2 most popular - the Kochon & the Vant which was shredded pork carnitas style and pork belly. In the pics, the pork belly looked like a bunch of cubed chops but I got several thick slabs and they were kind of dry. The kochon was decently flavored tho could've used a bit mores sauce. Overall was a bit disappointed.

The sandwich was excellent. Don't go if you're limited on time, it took quite a while before getting my order and the service wasn't the best. But I'd still strongly recommend these sandwiches!

My friend said this was her favorite food carts in Portland so I had to come and see for myself. It was amazing. I tried their signature Po Boy- the Vant with pork belly. No words, left me speechless! After finishing my sandwich, I felt alive. The flavors were well-balanced and excellent. I would certainly come back for more. It served as the perfect lunch option prior to a long adventurous day ahead of berry picking and hiking. The ample seating also makes St. John's food carts the right move for any small AND large group hangouts. Would highly recommend!
