Nanna's Place

OMG!My favorite breakfast place is now serving DINNER! 3 nights a week. I had to check out Nanna's at night. We started out with bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers . The bacon was incredible. I had chicken and dumplings. Delicious. Came with a salad and a Hawaiian bun My wife had the rib eye steak. Came with fried baked potato. Super good and the steak was tender and cooked to perfection. The menu for dinner is awesome. I'm going to be back for the new dinner menu until I have tried it all.

Best place for breakfast in Gresham. The french toast is perfection. I love the breakfast potatoes too! Everything is really good. You order at the counter but they bring you your food/drink like anywhere else. The people who work there are awesome and kind. Inside is very welcoming, but there's a really nice outside patio area where I prefer to sit especially on nicer days.

Back again for breakfast. It was a beautiful morning to eat on the patio. We both ordered the eggs Benedict (again!). Great as always. Love the potatoes! Their coffee is so good. It's nice to relax and linger over a second cup! I really don't mind ordering & paying at the counter before taking a seat. The service is very attentive after that, even when you are sitting outside. We have found that all the staff are very friendly. This is our favorite breakfast spot in all of the Portland area.

Ok, I fell in love with Nanna's because of the breakfast menu. (they do have a dinner menu that is new. I will get to that in a second) The name didn't do it for me because both of my grandmothers didn't really cook for us boys growing up. If my nana or grangran served food as good as this place I would have never learned about the rest of the world! Their breakfast menu is great from basic eggs and bacon to awesome farmhouse specials! The coffee is firm not weak nor is it over powering ... I never turn it down and I count it as my coffee for the day. The service is started at the walk-up counter and they take it from there. By the time you leave they will have have made it back to your table to make sure your experience was the best. If they're super busy on a weekend and they don't get to your table to say hi, the food will be so delicious you'll come back! So now onto the dinner menu, the dinner menu is only served Thursday Friday Saturday. This is a new service and they want to do it right and so far their chicken and dumplings sell out even if a double-batch is made! Last night I got there a little late and I was dying for real chicken and dumplings ... they had it and I got the last bowl! This recipe was better than Tad's chicken and dumplings on the old highway, which was pretty good 30 years ago but 15 years ago they changed the recipe and it had a lot of canned processed food added and canned vegetables and the only good thing they had at Tads chicken and dumplings was good beer and a view. As I looked up at what I didn't order, it made me wonder if the Meatloaf would have been better? O my the menu was pretty tempting to order to go but I contained myself so I could bring my wife back next week. The amount of love and care that those folks put into your meal is fully deserving of a name like "Nanna's Place"! Oh yeah, I forgot they have a full bar, outdoor enclosed seatings with heaters and music for your entertainment. I am going back tonight!

Omg!!! Super cute place, great service and delicious food! Let me start with the warm welcome when we walked in. A great experience starts with great service and a smile! We got both! I ordered the veggie omelette and it was packed with veggies! Mushrooms, zucchini, broccoli, tomatoes, onions and a bit of feta cheese. Savory and the veggies were cooked just right... delish! My honey had the Reuben sandwich, it wasn't a traditional Reuben as it was made with corn beef however he loved it! Quote "we should have came here yesterday." We also had to taste their French toast which was one of the best I've had in a very long time... fluffy and very tasty even without syrup. The overall experience was amazing! I am bringing my family back this weekend and will definitely eat here every time I'm back in town. Thanks for a special experience!

Food was very good and prices are moderate. Service excellent! Very nice breakfast and lunch spot.

5++++ stars for this restaurant. The service was amazing. They accommodated all my food requests with no hesitation. It is rare to get such good service these days and also decent priced. They are welcoming to all and they all do their part in making sure the guests are satisfied. So refreshing. I love the bee themed ambiance and everything in there is clean chic and warm. I will say tho... my chips were a little overcooked but again the service and prices are reasonable. Will love to come back with my family. Good job guys!

First time here and what a treat! From the moment I stepped in the building I was greeted warmly by very friendly staff. Ordered my food at the counter and sat down. Prices are reasonable for the day and age we are in and the decor is adorable and homey. My food arrived quickly. I got the farmhouse omelette, country potatoes and toast and it was all delicious. Will definitely be back and will bring the family!

Great place to go for a delicious breakfast or even lunch! Extremely friendly service and staff always serving with a smile, and a cozy social atmosphere! Definitely not a place to miss out on
