Outstanding Punjabi style dinner in a casual setting, Lloyd Center neighborhood. Marble floors, pearl-beaded draperies, and waiters in exotic dress were not needed to convince this diner that she was experiencing a very special meal. A group of us dined together at Naan and Curry this evening. Over the years, I've had quite a range of experiences in U.S. "Indian" restaurants, so I enter them with hopes that I anticipate might be somewhat or massively crushed. We split into separate tables of vegetarians and omnivores to facilitate eating family style. We four "onnivores" shared a collectively chosen: Ragisthani chicken, (tender in a fragrant sauce) channa masala (garbanzo beans cooked with vegetables and spices, agreed by all of us to be delicious!), matar masala (cubes of Indian cheese in a green vegetable sauce, similar to paneer saag) and spinach-cheese naan, with sides of mango chutney (sweet) and mixed pickles (salty and suggestive to me old leather book bindings. I think it's the coriander.) Definitely do not skip these last two! although you can choose your own heat levels on the main items. Bowls of rice were included, as was the appetizer of papadams with two kinds of dips: mint and red chutneys. Individually, each item was delicious, and they went together beautifully, a varied, flavorful combination. I had to laugh. Our server was reluctant to give me chai masala iced, imagining that I might not like it, but his apprehensions were soon allayed. Iced is fine. The service was pleasant and cheerful, but I had the sense that they were a little overwhelmed at finding themselves confronted with so many people wanting to order at the same time. They did a good job, even confronted with our check-splitting and sharing. The quantity and price seemed reasonably matched. General suggestion: Go with comfortable, food-adventurous companions who are unlikely to get into exciting conversations that might upstage the food. Be present and enjoy every bite!

I HIGHLY recommend checking out Naan n Curry the next time you want Indian food. They have an excellent blend of authentic flavors and creative twists like "chile cheese naan" with green chilis on top.I'd have given a full 5 stars if the service was a bit better. Our server waited until we turned around looking for them to come by, did not clear used plates, and didn't refill water until requested. That said, the quality and price of the food were so excellent that we left very happy & intent to return.

I wanted to try this place after reading several good reviews of it. The ambiance is very strip mall, both inside and out. We decided to go for inside dining. It was okay, but would be greatly improved if they added some background music and dimmed the lights a bit. It was very bright. We were one of only two tables dining in, but there were lots of people coming in for take out, which is what we will probably do in the future. They do have beer and wine, so we started with one beer and a white wine. They were good enough. For an appetizer, we had the mixed vegetable pakora. They are different than other places in that they are more bread-y and less crispy, but I didn't mind. They were flavorful and tasty. They are served with tamarind chutney and mint chutney. I was happy as I love chutney. They were also not heavy at all, we were able to finish off the generous portion. For dinner, we split the chicken tikka masala and the aloo gobi. They were served in really cool looking copper dishes and came with rice. Since I'm a spice wimp, we go everything milds. The chicken tikka was delicious and had just enough spice for me. The aloo gobi was good, but could have used a bit more kick. I would order that as medium next time. We also ordered the garlic naan and the raita. The naan was delicous, especially with a little raita spooned over it. The raita was wonderful, it didn't have the usual cucumber, which makes a lot of places' raita very watery. It was nicely spiced and the yogurt itself was very fresh tasting. I also got the mango chutney, which was good. My only qualm is that most Indian places serve such a small amount of chutney. It seems like the Indian places we find on the east side of town, where we live, end up being take out, but that's okay. We enjoyed Naan n Curry and we will order from them again.

Ordered take-out: Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, Paneer Tikka Masala, and Garlic Cheese Naan. They were very quick with the take-out, and the gentleman was very kind. They have AC inside so very comfortable while we waited; there were barely any customers dining in so I'm very surprised because their food was great! I LOVED the garlic cheese naan. The tikka masalas were great too but the only thing I'd say is idk why but I'm not used to having bell peoper in my tikka masala hahaha. But like I said, no issues! Would literally come back for the garlic cheese naan alone. That dipped in the tikka masala is *chef's kiss*.

While the samosas were unlike anything I have had before and I didn't really like them, everything else was outstanding. Their garlic naan is buttery, garlicky without too much, with a lovely crisp char on the bread. I had lamb madras and it was sooooooo delicious. I finished every last bit, which I do not usually do. This place doesn't have ambience, and desperately needs a new paint job on all of the walls. If I lived near here (I was visiting from out of town), takeout would be my preference.

Great food, online ordering, casual setting. Highlights: tasty curries and delicious breads (that Punjabi fry bread is so fluffy good, and the spinach cheese naan is amazing). The chicken biryani was pretty good, too -- huge pieces of chicken. Not as excited about the pakora, which were too bready and pretty soft by the time we got home. Too hungry to remember to take pics, but definitely worth checking the place out.

We were curious to try this place out as it is closer to our workplace. We were sad to see the previous business close down. We ordered a variety of items to share, which included Seekh Kabob Combo, Paneer Pakora, Garlic Naan, Chicken Vindaloo, and Chicken Khorma. I liked how the Kabob Combo came in a sizzling platter and had good flavor. The Vindaloo had a nice spice to it, and the garlic Naan was whey getting.

Second time having lunch here. The food is full of complex flavor. I was surprised with how full I got. I ordered the lunch thali combo ($15) with meat (cost an additional $1). The lunch combo came in a tray with an assortment of deliciousness. Naan bread also comes along with the lunch combo. If you're hungry for Indian food and in the Sullivan Gulch area, come give this place a try.
