Modern Thai Restaurant

Food was absolutely amazing. We have been here twice now in a week because the food is so delicious! Made in house and with care. Orange chicken did not disappoint with their home made sauce and the Crab Rangoons are handmade to perfection. Highly recommend this place. I think it is the best Thai Restaurant on Division.

The kumbucha squash curry was amazing! It felt like I was having dinner at my aunt's house...very personable and good service.

I am going to miss this place so much after visiting Portland. This place was so close to our airbnb so we ended up eating here two times. It's a family owned establishment(psst support local businesses) and they're the loveliest people. Cozy establishment, pretty decent prices (8-10$ range), and pretty darn good Thai food. I've had Thai food all over LA but I dont know, I feel like this place may take my number 1 spot for Thai in my book :) I ordered Tom Kha soup which is basically tom yum with added coconut sauce? (Correct me if I'm wrong) but that is my personal fave. Wontons and egg rolls are cooked to a delicious crisp. You can also choose your spice level on the food. Be careful though! My partner ordered hot leveled on his Pad Thai and was literally sweating head to toe.Overall this place became one of my favorite gems in the city of roses. I absolutely have to come back.

Prompt service and super delicious Thai food. The name of this place is definitely up to par. I recommend trying their jungle noodles(not pictured) and pad thai! It's super delicious and you won't be disappointed!

This place was great food. Had noodles and they were great along with salad rolls. Went for walk while waiting for order and ended up late getting back, after closing time. They were still waiting with our hot food. Great service!

Great food! Had the Bean Thread Noodle (glass noodles made from mung beans). Super flavorful! Friendly staff and more affordable when compared to other Thai restaurants on Division. Highly recommended :)

Friends recommended this place to us. We placed an order to go. I'm new to Thai food, but this was so flavorful. Definitely glad I tried something new. The owners were so friendly & helpful in choosing what to eat. Was not disappointed. Will be back for sure. Plan on eating there next time.

Had delicious potstickers with a great dipping sauce. Nicely done with a bit of crunch. Shared yakisoba with pork - so good. Vegies crunchy and pork very tender! Owner so kind and so happy we were there for lunch! Highly recommend!

I think the modern in the name refers to their excessive use of the microwave. You can hear it in use while waiting for your order.

Modern thai combines great prices and service with a welcoming, comfy enviornment with some of the best thai food you can find. Me and my friends are frequents and they treat us like celebrities. 11/10.
