The restaurant was lovely inside and food was delicious and fresh. They were out of two of the types of fish I ordered but I enjoyed the substitute that the server suggested. I asked for a mocktail and the one they made me was actually quite good! The B-side roll was basically just a spicy tuna roll with scallop on it but good! Being able to order real wasabi for $5 was exciting and would recommend. The presentation on all of the dishes was beautiful.

Went here on a whim as the place we planned to go was closed. Reviews looked good. This is a fine dining sushi experience. With over the top presentations that are built into the price. Of course, I loved it, as I had not experienced this anywhere else. This is what I expected dining at Disney World to be like, but they missed the mark. The sushi was delicious and if high quality but I am used to getting my own sashimi from hmart and making my own slices and simple presentation at home and honestly, he & I both agreed that it was better tasting. If you want to take a date here or impress someone or get some social media clout, this is it, but be ready to drop some coin. If you want a conveyor sushi place/prices, this place is not gonna be it for you, but give it a try. Just know you will be getting less great quality sushi for a bit more money. One thing I noticed, as a lighting designer, it was a tad but too dark but very nice atmosphere. My Mom wished that the back of the faux window paper screens were lit from behind. I completely agreed with her. It would amp up the cozy vibe with just a subtle glow behind those. They make led sheets now that can be cut to size and would be perfect for this application. Our waiter was lovely. She was friendly and very helpful.

Finally had a chance to stop by the other day, and had a great experience. The staff are super kind, they recommended different nigiris for the ones that were sold out for the night, and they didn't disappoint! We were a walk in and were told it might be a while to be seated but we were seated in less than 10 minutes which was nice surprise. The restaurant itself is decorated nicely, with dim lighting. The walkability through the restaurant is good as you're not bumping into peoples tables to get through. The food was not bad at all. I was expecting the sushi to be just okay, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fish. It is better than other places, and doesn't have a fishy after taste for fish that is more known to be a bit funkier. Everything tasted very clean and fresh. I will say the fish texture is a bit softer, less of a textural bite. But still very good! I like my amaebi sweet and bouncy, and the ones we had were maybe a tier 2 for those categories. They had a few interesting rolls that used pesto- first time having sushi pesto it was interesting, not my cup of tea though. My fav items for the night were the amberjack, kuradai (recommended by staff), and otoro. Otoro was super succulent! Great cut. For drinks, I tried one of their lychee cocktails. It tasted pretty watery sadly and could not taste the lychee purée at the bottom which was a bummer.

Fantastic sushi place! We stopped here after some shopping at the mall and we were delighted with the service and the food. We got the gyoza as an appetizer and they were great and then we ordered four sushi rolls for our entree. We got the Golden California Roll which was crispy with a little zing from the spicy mayo and a Philly roll which was great. Then we shared a Kanpyo Roll and an Ume-Shiso roll which were both fantastic and wrapped with the nori on the outside, which made them a lot easier to eat. Lol We also ordered some Ramune sodas, which I had never tried before, and not only were they sweet and sparkly, the waitress was kind enough to show me how to open it. A great place with a laid back but elegant vibe in a hugely convenient spot. A great choice and definitely worth a trip even if you're not in the area!

We were happy to be seated quickly and our server, Linda, provided friendly and polite service. We dove right into the menu, opting for the Sapporo Miso Ramen alongside some delectable Sushi: Unagi and Otoro. To quench our thirst, we ordered classic Green Tea.The star of the show was definitely the ramen. The rich miso broth was a perfect complement to the perfectly cooked noodles. Each slurp offered a delightful blend of savory flavors. The accompanying toppings were a festival of textures and tastes - the melt-in-your-mouth grilled pork, the creamy boiled egg, the freshness of bean sprouts and corn, and the delightful pops of flavor from the naruto fish cake. However, the green tea was a bit of a letdown. It lacked the vibrant color and robust flavor one expects from a good cup of green tea, making it a somewhat weak start to the Japanese dining experience. We finished the meal on a lighter note with mochi ice cream. We opted for both mango and matcha flavors. The mochi itself was delicious, but the addition of chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and a cherry wasn't quite to my taste. I personally prefer the pure, unadulterated taste of mochi ice cream.Overall, this restaurant offered a delicious ramen experience with a friendly atmosphere. While the green tea and mochi toppings missed the mark slightly, the star of the show - the ramen - was a true delight.Would I eat here again? Absolutely!

This is a great place for dinner! We got seated quickly and the service was super nice. I definitely recommend their crispy fried rice with salmon and the scallop roll. They are delicious. The prices are higher compared to conveyor belt sushi but it's a nice restaurant for special occasions or dinner.

Orgasmic!NoI am not posturizing or being dramatic. I am a sushi snob. I know I prefer uni, sea urchin, derived from divers from Kodiak island Alaska. The sushi here. , while perhaps not quite as complex from other places. Is fresh Fresh fresh fresh. When I ordered my chirashiThe sushi Chef knew the location on the planet where the seafood came from. How unique. The service at the bar fast. Saki hot and fast. The uni. Omg If you dont know uni. I am sorry for you. The uni From Japan was tied for my favorite. Which is from Kodiak island Alaska. I am so glad these guys enjoy their work. Came here one evening on a pretty slow night and had a good time! Walking in, the staff was very friendly and our waitress was very kind--checking on us very often throughout our dining experience. We sat at the bar and was able to try a variety of their dishes. We got their takoyaki, a variety of nigiri (amaebi, sake, creamy scallop, uni, and toro), and ramen. Their takoyaki was good--covered with the perfect amount of sauce and bonito flakes. Their ramen was also pretty standard and was a good portion. And, their nigiri was great quality; fresh and filling portions. The only thing I would say about this spot is that it does lean towards higher price point than other sushi spots, without offering anything new. The uni I got here was probably one of the most expensive uni nigiri I've gotten in Portland at $18 for one piece, but doesn't stand out compared to the others at lower/the same price points. Overall, although it was good, I believe you could find similar spots in quality and taste for a better value.

Service was great. After escorting you to your table they waited for you to sit down in order to personally hand you your menu. They checked in multiple times to see if everything was alright. For a starter we order the calamari which was delicious and unique since it had raw onions, stir fried serran pepper and fish sauce. It was like salt and pepper squid. For rolls we had Dynamite, Lobster, and Oregon. I can't recall but one of the rolls have a creamy pesto sauce which I found too overpowering and did not enjoy. For nigiri we had Salmon Belly, Amaebi, Ika, Karpachi, and Otoro. The Salmon Belly was my favorite.
