An absolute gem! so glad this restaurant caught my attention as I was running errands on SW Pacific Highway. It was the perfect place to stop for an early dinner. Inside is colorful and lively - but it's the delightful aroma of the food that immediately tells you, this is gonna be good! Plus the staff is so friendly. Feeling like comfort food on a cold and rainy day, I ordered the Arroz con Pollo. Yes, there were lots of interesting and more unique items on the menu, and chicken and rice is basic, but I assure you, there was nothing basic about this dish. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and so flavorful. The rice peppered with peas was equally delicious. The plating was colorful and artistic. It was the perfect choice. In fact, it was so good, I'm afraid I'm going to get it again when I go back and there are so many other items I want to try! Next time, I'll plan ahead and go with friends so we can enjoy cocktails and several dishes to share. Everything about this dish and restaurant was five stars.

We finally made it here for dinner. They had live music which was a little loud for the small space but it was pleasant. The empanadas were amazing and the papa rellena was also good. They use the same sauce for both so I'd probably do another app next time.I really liked my chicken and vegetables. My husband had a pasta dish and the sauce was not something he would order again. My pisco punch was delicious. The staff was friendly. We will come back to try different dishes

I've gotta say .. this is a fantastic restaurant. Not just "Tigard fantastic" either. This was our first time here. Most of my experience with Peruvian food had come from the stellar Andina in the Pearl District, and I learned that the chef/owner of Mi Pisco used to cook at Andina.Although margaritas are not Peruvian, the version here was really great. We started with the Ceviche de Cilantro. The fish was Hawaiian Ono. It was fresh and tasty. The secret to Peruvian ceviche is the lime-y marinade, the Leche de Tigre (tiger's mik) and this one left me licking my lips. For entrees, I had the Lomo Saltado: tender cubes of steak cooked to order, red onion, and tomato with an amazing, smoky soy-based sauce. It's served with rice and roasted potatoes (in place of the traditional french fries) with an aji amarillo sauce. It's considered the Peruvian national dish and I loved this version. My friend had the Tallarin Verde con Milanesa de Pollo: a perfect, crispy, moist, flavorful breaded chicken breast served with a fetuccine-type pasta with a green pesto sauce. It was delicious, too. We were too full for dessert. Our server, Mia, helped to guide us through the menu and made great suggestions. Some thoughts:The location is not ideal, being right on Pacific Highway, and the in-front parking is a little trickyThey were out of the passion fruit mojito which we were excited to try.All of our food came out at once. It would've been nice to let us enjoy the starters before firing the entrees.Prices are on the higher end (especially for Tigard), but after tasting the food, I think they are fair.Do yourself a favor and dine-in. I don't think you can really appreciate the quality of this food as take-out.TL;DR: Amazing Peruvian food in an unexpected location. It deserves to be packed with hungry diners. 5 stars from me. Will definitely go back.

I really enjoyed the beef empanadas and the Lumo Salado was very tender and super flavorful. The yucca Frita was not my favorite thing I tried today. The restaurant was large, clean, with very friendly wait staff. Surprisingly not to busy at lunchtime today. I look forward to coming back to try some other dishes.

Interesting place. A surprise inside, right on hwy 99. The decor was welcoming, staff knew the menu and were helpful in describing ingredients and prep. I'm GF, no problem here. The fish was fresh and delicious. Their use of vegetables was tasty and interesting. The "purple" drink is traditionally Peru, a must have or at least try!

Super friendly service and some great food! Our first time trying Peruvian food, kind of a mix of Mexican and European flavors. They had some live music playing and the drinks were incredible. Nothing over the top or pretentious, just really good food and service!

I was looking forward to trying this new place so I ordered delivery the other night. The food arrived pretty hot still. The portions were significantly smaller than the price would suggest. The Empanadas de Carne were about $15 per order of two. They were the smallest empanadas I have ever seen. About 45 inches long and something like $7.50 each. Yikes!!I ordered a chicken dish that came with rice and a few potatoes for about $23. Well same problem. Not a good value for the price. I have never posted a review about small portions before so this is a first. I am looking forward to trying another Peruvian restaurant, but I will not be visiting this one again. Perhaps portions are more in keeping with price when they serve in the restaurant, but this was a poor introduction to this restaurant.

Well well ! We have another gem for Peruvian food and its quickly becoming everyone's favorite. When we came in for dinner, we were only the second table that was occupied ,which was a surprise because we had read the reviews that said that this place gets full fast . Perhaps it's not true for weekdays ? There is plenty of seating and the decor was lively and colorful. We started with a Pisco sour and a chicha Morada and Papa Rellenos. The Papa Rellenos were piping hot and so delicious . It had the right amount of crunch and the soft filling inside was delicious. We then shared a plate of ARROZ CON POLLO. I can't begin to describe how good it was -I would describe it as something that can be called comfort food . We were hoping to get dessert but felt pretty full. I do feel they add soda to their food which made us feel full even with small portions. The sugar rim on the Pisco sour can definitely be done away with ,totally brought the whole drink down. The staff were sweet and friendly and the pricing competitive.

Fantastic food, subtle flavors that were quite varied. The food wasn't spicy hot but had spice. The staff was kind and helpful, with a calm environment to enjoy a beautiful, delicious meal.
