Tonight we visited a local culinary favorite in our home SE Portland - Richmond district. The three of us ordered a variety of appetizers for dinner. The servings; Shrimp ceviche , calamari , roasted corn on the cob, empanada platter was presented as if an artist had painted them - the colors and flavors were exquisiteThe appetizers had their own unique blends of spices and textures. With that said there wasn't a bite left after we tasted each dish! The servers were friendly, polite, and timely, which made the dinner wonderful. Last let's not forget desert . Their home made flan and warm coconut rice pudding was scrumptious .....When you are visiting SE Portland you want to enjoy their outside dining to relax and feast on this unique culinary journeyBon AppetiteRonn just RonnThe hole in the wall food guy.

100% gluten free, other than two beers on tap. If you have a gluten allergy or Celiac disease you are in good hands here. We arrived early on a Thursday, and we were somewhat concerned about how quiet it was when we arrived. So we went in the bar and had a drink and checked out the place. Our bartender was phenomenal, she poured a great drink and also recommended a cocktail to us which we loved. She was also very helpful in providing the names of a few good places to check out as while we are in town. We decided to have a few appetizers, the calamari and yuca fries. They were both great. I'm not a big fan of ranch dressing but they had a really nice coconut ranch for the calamari along with a spicy sweet dip that tasted a lot like Maggie sweet and hot. The yuca fries were dry good, you could tell they use fresh oil. They were crispy and not oily. All and all, it was a nice stop for us. The photos in line are a bit misleading as we expected something a bit more elegant but they delivered on service, flavor and a safe environment for GF fare.

I am giving them the full 5 stars although I could list a few quibbles. The food was excellent (the main reason to come here). The guacamole was excellent. The calamari starter was better than most (I still prefer calamari strips over rings, when I can find them). The Bronzino (European sea bass) was fantastic, great seasoning and made the meal. The craft cocktails were solid but not outstanding.Had fun sitting at the bar watching the bartender deal with the main rush, she was great.

Food and service absolutely 5 star!! Tuna Tostada has incredible flavor, empanadas soo good!! Love that it's all gluten free! Parking is a challenge unless you get real lucky. It's on Division so unless you can walk there you may end up a block or two way. The place is obnoxiously LOUD it felt like we were in a dive bar after midnight. I felt like I had to yell.. next time I'll see about the outdoor seating...

I came here one evening with my boyfriend and had an amazing time. We walked in at an earlier dinner spot and were fortunately able to grab a table. I recommend reservations if you're planning to grab dinner here around 6-7pm as it can get pretty busy. The inside can feel a bit packed but there's plenty of seating. The lighting is dim and decor is nice.My boyfriend and I ordered the calamari, elote, fried oysters, and adobo branzino and everything was delicious. The calamari was crispy and the sauce complimented it so well. The elote was a bit on the burnt side for my taste, but it was also still good. The fried oysters were also fried to perfection and amazing. And, the adobo branzino was so filling with a phenomenal blend of flavors. My boyfriend and I rarely go out to Mexican restaurants but I could see this becoming a favorite. I highly recommend this spot !!

This was a very fun and vibrant spot for dinner! They have mezcal drinks and a variety of Latin American tapas for sharing, as well as larger entreés. All the ones we got to try were very delicious. I especially enjoyed their Empanadas, Arroz con Pollo, and the Rice Bowl with Shrimps. Would love to be back to try other items.Prices and portion of the food were good. Staff was also very friendly. The place does get a bit loud with music and people chatting so keep that in mind if you want a more intimate atmosphere.

Pro: The food is good. I ordered the mestizo salad bowl with shrimp and both the orange cumin vinaigrette and coconut ranch. Both of the dressings were delicious and I loved all the different textures in the salad. We also shared the guac and chips, also good. Con: The service is not so good. We came on a weeknight and it was visibly not that busy, however I found the service to be quite slow. We started off by ordering some drinks and shots. We were asked if we wanted the shots neat or chilled. When we replied with chilled, we were then told that wasn't an option since they didn't have a shaker. I'm not sure why we were given options when there was really only one option. And then when we were asked if we were ready to order, the waitress proceeded to clean up dirty tables before coming back to take our order. I was a little thrown off by that too. If you were not ready to take our order, why did you ask and then go do something else? I'd definitely come back for the food but probably order take out.

An incredible night at the exciting eatery. The food was incredible. We delighted on the likes of the fish tacos, yucca fries, empanadas, Elote and more. The service was incredible. They were patient with this giggling party of five. The space was open and easy to enjoy. We appreciated that sound was down at a very enjoyable level where we could enjoy it with conversation. We look forward to returning soon. This time we won't be late.

Yuca frites and aioli were delicious! Chicha Morada Punch cocktail was SOOOO good! Our waiter was very nice and several staff checked on us and took our empty plates away. Nice aesthetics inside. Would definitely go again.
