McQueen's Bar & Grill

Visiting from San Diego and fell into this friendly local bar and eatery. Friendly bartenders who are very good mixologist. Patrons are friendly and great singers at their famous Karaoke. Good place to wet your whistle and belt out a song. Enjoy some good eats while your there.

Can't go wrong with food here! It's constantly good, for a dive bar, lots of regulars, poker, good food! We usually go with the specials, tonight l tried navy bean& bacon soup. OMG. It was awesome!! Lots of smoke flavor, tank it right up there with mine! We split a club& fries also good!! Service is always good! It's on our list of go to places. I

Food and drinks are amazing. Delicious, different homemade specials every day, and the drinks are fantastic. My absolute favorite bar!!! Love everyone here.

Discovered this place a couple months ago. Loved the happy hour menu and the fair price for the wings. It's the main reason I came back a few times and will continue to come.EDIT: Just went back and bartender said new manager or something ended their happy hour! She said I was "lucky" to ever get it :( was starting to make it my new spot but now I won't be back sadly. Prices are now too high for what they offer. Their menu isn't the best but was still prepared to order a special that day if there was something good. Their white board that usually had specials was gone. I asked to see their specials, she told me it takes them an hour (from 3 - 4) to write the new daily specials on a white board. This was at 2:50... clearly didn't want to sell any food. I just left.

Great drinks, great company, and has food. What more can you ask for?Location: One of the only places open late in the area that serves food. They have free street parking in the area.Food/ drinks: I ordered the chicken tenders and they were your standard chicken tenders. I also ordered a long island that was made to perfection. Drinks are also reasonably priced. I will say it is one of the only places in the area that serves food very late at night. I went around 11 PM. Service: The bartender was super friendly and nice. She made my drink quick and was very diligent about checking in on me. She took the time to talk and get to know me as well (always a plus).Overall, a great dive bar to go to for late-night food and drinks.

McQueen's is a traditional dive bar in an interesting part of town. The bar gets pretty loud after the sun goes down, the crowd gets rowdy, the bartenders are typical dive bar bartenders. If you ask for something fancy, you may get a snarky comment, so order a beer - off tap and they'll be happy.

After opening back up the menu changed to a few burgers, apps and salads. Basically a reduced menu. I ordered a simple burger which was usually $$7.50. They now charge 9.00 and was shocked to learn it didn't come with the normal fries, tots or salad. Seems the owner is trying to recoup his Covid-19 losses on the backs of his regulars. They lost us as long term customers.

McQueens Karaoke is the bomb.. singers all night long with dancing and such ......The KJ is attentive, professional, and fun . There is a long rotation of singers, but if your patience she will make sure you sing your song..s.Thanks Jennifer..

Looks like a "neighborhood" bar, full of a lot of locals who have gone there for years. This place has a really great choice of beers (on draft as well as a few more in bottle or can) and there's a lot of different food items on the menu, especially for such a small kitchen. The prices that are considered moderate for the choices given.If you get there early enough for breakfast they have a basic bacon & eggs breakfast special for under five or six dollars that's not a bad deal.I think that this place would seriously benefit from a new laminate floor put in, and some of the nasty old carpet (with no padding beneath) torn out. and if you're one of those people that has seen duct tape used for just about any kind of repair, you might be surprised that someone has actually attempted to put tape on the floor to repair a ripped or scratched fake wood/laminate floor area over by what looks to be a stage area or dance floor or karaoke corner. (I was there during a football game so there was nothing but a TV and a few screaming fans.)If you are a smoker, then this may be one of the few paradises that you can go to eat or hang out for long periods of time in order to watch a sports game or listen to live music (or do Karaoke?). They have an outside area with several picnic tables, surrounded by a gigantic metal ground-to-roof cover, so that you can smoke outside the building without standing in the wind, rain or snow (or blazing hot sun, depending on the time of year). I couldn't tell you much more about it, because I am not a smoker and did not go out there oh, I just saw it through a window.I have only been there once and had just gotten done eating elsewhere and only stopped for a beer and to check it out. So I can't really give too great of review regarding the food. I did, however, look at the menu and they had a nice varied assortment between deep fried bar food, sandwiches both hot and cold, burgers, salads, wraps, and other foods I cannot remember at the moment, including breakfast.There seems to have been just enough parking for the small space that is inside. I did not use the restroom so I cannot speak to its cleanliness or amenities. While I was there I think there was one person cooking and one bartender for the, probably 20-25 people that were present both inside & out, and although the drinks and service tended to be a little slow, it wasn't to unacceptable. I just wouldn't expect to get a fast drink unless you hover around the bar area and ask for it yourself.One of the nice things that they did have at the time I was there, (which was during nicer weather) was a gigantic Igloo cooler full of icy cold water and a stack of plastic cups so that you could serve yourself a glass of water with.If I ever make it back out that way to try the breakfast or one of their soups or sandwiches I will update my review.

Best chicken fried steak, ever! Hashbrowns were perfect! Angie is amazing, providing great service! If you're ever in the area, check it out!
