WHEN: Fri @5pmWhile there is plenty of seating at this food hall, not many are in the shade, so those get snagged up quick! What's convenient is there is a tablet you can place your order from, and here's what 3 adults shared:Our order comes with pickles and warm dip bbq sauce.PORK SPARE RIBS (1 lb) - $16Not my favorite since I'm not a fan of dry surfaces but the flavor is all there. SLICED BRISKET (1/2 lb) - $16Wow so tender! Best brisket ever! Even better when you dip it in the BBQ sauce. Man, I am impressed.ORIGINAL SAUSAGE (1) - $6I appreciate it already cut into section which makes it easier to share. Your standard sausage link with a bit of kick to it. I liked it. PORK BELLY BURNT ENDS (1/2 lb) - $16Rich and tender enough for me. Juicy and rich. Okay fine, it's fatty, I said what I said.QUESO MAC AND CHEESE - $4.75When you receive this after it's served, it looks like a pool of runny yellow liquids. Don't worry that cheese sauce will l thicken, and just might become the best Mac n cheese you've ever had! Price is decent too for the amount! How did we manage to still have leftovers? I guess we weren't hungry, which proves more that this place serves good BBQ!

great tacos using unconventional fillings. I had a brisket and a pork belly taco. The tortilla was a fresh made flour tortilla that was phenomenal! The fillings, well that's another story, they could have doubled even tripled the amount of meat considering the price. The brisket was pulled, I would prefer a slice of brisket instead of pulled. You don't get the truer flavors of brisket in a slice as opposed to pulled. The pork belly was nice but the sauce was too overpoweringly sweet. The tacos needed something extra not just the pickled onion but maybe some cilantro or some other vegetable. It just wasn't overwhelming.

My favorite BBQ spot in Portland. Food is amazing, service is fast, but it can get crowded on weekends, so plan accordingly. Sitting in the food pod is very comfortable and better than average too.

At Probst Market. Stand in line to order. They have a digital message board letting you know how long it should take to get to the front of the line. Once you order, you get the food pretty quickly. Food is boxed nicely. Can be a trick finding a seat in the busy food truck complex. Food was awesome. Possibly the best brisket I've ever had. Ribs outstanding. There's a sauce bar where you help yourself to about 5 different choices. All were good but none of them wowed me.

It looks closed but you order with a machine on the side. We accidentally ordered the chopped brisket instead of sliced but it was pretty good. I'm impressed. This is definitely not Texas BBQ, but I would definitely come again. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was good. The pickles and onions were super good I enjoyed it. I wish it came with some bread on the side (maybe it was a side option I didn't see) or you just have to buy a sandwich perhaps. This is a good location to meet up with friends as it is in a food truck station and next beer/bar.

Big old pile of smoky brisket perfection for an incredibly fair price. The employees were friendly and incredibly vigilant, they immediately clocked who was lost with their ordering system and who was picking food up. Once pointed out to us, the ordering system was straightforward and let us order exactly what we wanted in the amounts we wanted - not something all BBQ places can say. It came out almost immediately, and the chefs made a point to interact and tell us how proud they were of the product. Finding seating in the beer hall can be a little hectic, but given a bit of time always works out.

Drinks:-N/AFood:- The jalapeño cheddar sausage is a must get. Let me put it this way: it's a snappy gushing cheesy glizzy. I mean what more do ya want? It's also not spicy, granted my tolerance for spice is high, but I honestly don't think anyone would have an issue with the spice level here, it's more for the flavor- The sliced brisket is textbook, juicy and flavorful. This is a good pick- The coleslaw was okay, it's more of a vinegar based tangy coleslaw so if you're expecting a rich mayo based coleslaw then this is not for you. This is acidic and is meant to balance out the fattiness of all the meat - The burnt ends are a must get. The fattiness of the pork belly is addicting and surprisingly didn't tire me out or made the meal feel heavy- The mac n cheese was okay. I liked it, but it didn't really blow my mind or anythingAmbience:- This is a food truck next to the Prost German beer pub- The vibe of the food truck/Prost situation is a great setup for a nice sunny day. There's picnic style benches as seating options and the space is covered- There's a nice dedicated sauce station to try their sauces and allows you to control the amount of sauce you want which I liked a lotOverall:The vibe of this place and the uniqueness of it makes it a great hangout spot or even a good date spot. I definitely plan on returning and when anyone from out of town asks me for a recommendation for places to eat, this place is towards the top of my list (it's literally food carts, and beer what's more Portland than that). The sides left a great deal to be desired, but that is made up for by the vibes and the meat. If I had to rank the meats that I tried, I'd put it in the following order:1. Burnt Ends (fatty but doesn't make you feel bloated)2. Sliced Brisket (juicy and has that classic brisket flavor)3. Pork Spare Ribs (Doesn't quite fall off the bone, but it is a very pleasant eating experience and has a good bite to it)4. Chopped Brisket (kind of dry, kind of touch to chew. It was alright)

Well, you have to get here right when they open or order online right at 10 AM.It's Father's Day, and I waited too late to get the Beef Rids, but what I did order I'd good also but kicking myself for not ordering an extra Mac & Cheese. It's a food truck haven where Matt's is located at and trust me a lot to choose from. But for the BBQ. It's Matt's Hands down.Make sure to get out and grab you some good BBQ in the Pacifica Northwest.

Ok so I had to try Matt's since everyone in Portland kept saying they were the best. I ordered the pork burnt ends and brisket. I will say that both were flavorful, but I personally don't like my meat sauced down. The pork burnt ends had a good texture, but the over powering sweet bbq sauce was not my favorite. The brisket was definitely the star of the show, really juicy and tender, not super salty or overly seasoned. Overall their bbq is pretty solid, but I still think Botto's holds the number 1 bbq in Portland.
