Their chilly oil sauce is the best in PDX! The congee is mastered of its class. For Chinese congee style, this is your best bet in PDX!Quick service, the friendliness depends on your own perspective and interpretation. Super casual, not a good place to work or hangout.

A simple no frills establishment with affordable eats. Order at the kiosk upon entering and help yourself to self-serve tea. The braised beef jianbing was okay but packed with too many peanuts for my liking. The outside was soft instead of crispy. Average jianbing compared to others I've had. The meat in the beef brisket noodle soup was soft and tender. The soup had a unique flavor but could be more flavorful. Hard boiled egg was too salty. It would be nice if everything was served in real dishware with actual silverware instead of disposable plastics. Very casual dining. The best part was the unlimited and complimentary jasmine tea.

not bad place for some chinese food. came here solely because i saw they had jianbing and wanted to see if it was any good here!the jianbing itself was not bad. its not as good as master bing in university district of seattle but its solid and maybe more authentic here! the jianbing was super crispy and held up well but for some reason as i ate more and more of it i grew sick of eating it. not sure why, i guess it was just too much of the same taste. but i still devoured it so thats saying something!we also ordered their pan fried buns and fish congee and both were solid. the meat of the buns were super juicy and the buns were perfectly fried so its just the right amount of crisp. although i will say im pretty sure they forgot about our buns because they took a long time to come out (well after our other food). the congee was good though! your standard fish congee, it came with a lot of fish and i forgot how much it costed exactly but it is a lot for the price so i would say it is worth it. the service here is .. interesting. its run by a bunch of chinese women and they can be a little scary lol. we ordered on the self ordering kiosk and sat down at a table to wait for our food and other people ordering to go also came in. some guy almost took the wrong order and the lady started yelling at him which was kind of scary lol. but she was relatively nice to us and gave us everything we needed without asking. their tea is also self service which is nice! but be careful cuz it's boiling hot lol. overall solid food!! their parking lot in the back is extremely small though so you may have to find street parking

This is absolutely my favorite take out spot when I'm in SE Portland! The food is always fresh and generous portions for the price, plus all the orders I've received come perfect packed and secure if you're taking it to go. I usually order ahead using their website and it typically takes about 20-30 minutes.

This reminds me of a restaurant I used to go to in San Francisco's ChinaTown during weekends. It was also a smaller sit down restaurant intended more for quick meals with similar fare. That other restaurant had excellent food and Master Kong is just as good. I only wish I lived close enough to eat here all the time.

The prices have only slightly increased since my last visit, which remains relatively affordable compared to places that sell similar items. The restaurant was full when we arrived, and there was no indication of the approximate wait time for a table. I should've just left. The place is already small and becomes even more cramped with everyone standing by the door waiting for the next available table. I made the mistake of ordering on the screen for dine-in; they still prepared my food even when there was no place to sit or stand. We held our food by the door while waiting for the next available table. The noodles didn't taste as good as I remember; they were rather mediocre. The Jianbing looked appealing but didn't live up to its appearance. Very bad dining experience. I'm unsure if I'll return again.

Service was mid. You order at the kiosk for dining out. You can grab a seat and scan the QR code if you're dining in. Service was fast. Food looked authentic. I ordered the jianbing with beef and was disappointed that there was barely any beef... I paid extra for this. Overall size of the jianbing is generous but they skimp out on the beef! Credit card accepted.

We eat here at least 3x a month. Everything on the menu is beyond delicious. The service is always quick for us (we pickup and take home). We've also recommended and have ordered for multiple friends. 15/10 recommend any day.

I only ordered the jianbing with braised beef. And it was delicious! It was hot, ingredients were high quality, it was fresh, crunchy, chewy, savory, salty, all the things. The sauces gave it a nice garlicky, spice, and vinegar addition. The staff were very nice and they offered me tea while I waited for my to go order :) I did kinda wish there was a sweet element to this, as there were so many other flavors! Just felt like that was missing. I'll def be back!
