Mariscos Las Islas Marias

I love this place! I drive from beaverton when ever I get a chance! This is a real Mexican seafood restaurant they even have mariachi!!! My husband had them play meA love song while we had the best food! Recommend the molcajete !!Very nice staff

The food is amazing but the service is so bad here, you have to constantly ask the server to get you more water or something to drink. They're not attentive at all and then they get mad if you don't tip them. I tip based off service and every time I've gone here I've had to chase the server down for the refill. Oh and don't order more chips or they will charge extra for them. Just a heads up! The ambiance is good if you like Mexican music then heck yeah they have a music player and it's usually loud. But overall a nice ambience. The servers suck tho!

Came on a Sunday(around 3pm) and they had a band which was great. I got the mojarra frita with the garlic sauce. The garlic sauce was tasty, it was just the bottled peeled garlic, would've been better if it was fresh. The rice was basic, wished it was jasmine rice. The iceberg salad came with thousand island which I don't like so I didn't try it. The fish was good but I wish it was meatier, like it looks in the picture. I also asked for the spicy green sauce which was not spicy. At the end, the oils settled a lot and soaked the salad and bottom of rice.I'm rating it a 3 because I wouldn't return. I only had the fish this time because I have a shellfish allergy so I can't attest to the rest of the menu.

Very good. We came as a table of 6 for my father in laws birthday dinner. Service was great and the food was very fresh. A good variety on the menu and everyone enjoyed their meal. It was really nice having a live band playing music. Highly recommend the lime mineral water drink they have or the pina colada.

Entramos y luego, luego nos sentaron. Estaban unos músicos tocando música en vivo. El ambiente costal en la playa. Este espacio es más grande que la nueva sucursal en Gresham. Las mesaras nos atendieron rápido trayendo chips y salsa. La selección de salsa era Huichol y tapatío. Mi prima preguntó por salsa picante para su mojarra, nos trajeron una verde de molcajete pero no picaba! Yo ordene un cóctel estilo campechana. Muy delicioso! Este lugar es recomendado por varios amigos y familiares. Las empanadas de camarón no se digan. ¡Ordénenlas!

It's okay but there's a mandatory tip. It's not optional it gets put on your bill without questions. And 8 dollar fee just to use credit card? They are just money hungry, and they even have another option for extra tips on top of the 20% they charge you

Service is terrible, they discriminate against elderly people and are rude to customers.Please don't visit this restaurant!

Bad service workers dont welcome you or say anything to you when you walk in and they're are just standing around. You get the menu thrown at you on the table and walk away. If you ask questions about the menu they make faces at you dont go here!!

I love this place the only one In Portland that make really good mariscos . I love El Cora molcajete is my favorite . Don't try anything else. Except for seafood . Really good micheladas too
