Wonderful time here! The ambience is really cozy and clean. The staff are really friendly. We went to this place on a weekend for brunch. The ambience is different with umbrella's all over the place which is very unique. Food is great here. We tried their classic cappuchino's and really loved the coffee. We ordered Portabella scramble and chicken club sandwich. Both were delicious. The interesting and most loved part about the brunch was fruits, they just sliced the fresh fruits and they were really fresh and delicious. Overall, I would definitely re-visit this place and would recommend to anyone in and around the area.

Lived in the area for over a decade and visited Marco's for the first time today. The environment is cozy and homey, but not *too* homey. It's clean and well kept. Food was delicious, service was quick. We chatted for a while and didn't feel rushed. I'm sure they get busy on weekends so plan ahead, or maybe stop by on a Monday like we did. We'll be back!

Wow, my only regret is that I do t live closer to the village. What a treat for the neighborhood. We had a party of 20, call in for res, come on in they said. We had perfect table and the team of servers were all over us to set us with water, juice, coffees, fruit dishes for the 4 toddlers. The main menu was awesome, my mouth coming to life just by reading the descriptions. There were flavors abound from simple palettes to flavor explosion dishes. They also had an incredible specials menu and a drink menu, wouldn't be Portland with out one. The breakfast mules for the adults got us pointed in the right direction. The service was an almost perfect, missed on filling waters, bringing the kids menus, but for a party of 20 Alex did a great job. As far as the food again almost perfect, my mom had the biscuits and gravy, trouble is the gravy came out cold and had the skin of death on top. The flavor was tasty with a burst of peppery and savory flavors in the sausage. Closest you could get to a dirty gravy, the biscuits were fresh and fluffy if we only had it while it was pipping hot. I had the chorizo omelette. This was a home run. The chorizo so fresh and flavorful. A huge portion that was served with my choice of side fresh fruit. It was so incredibly delicious. Don't k ow if I could try anything else upon my return. The odd thing though and it took me a day or two to figure it out, there was something missing from what I read in the menu. They never finished dressing the plate. It was supposed to come with avocado and something else. It didn't take away from my initial reaction and enjoyment, but is that one detail. As far as the rest they had the standard breakfast fare along with a breakfast burrito, and pancake's. They all loved it, for most the portions were either perfect or massive. Our experience here was great and as I have said I look forward to my visit back to the village so I can go to Marco's.

First time in Portland in a long time and woke up pretty late so decided to come here for a nice little breakfast/brunch. Was seated promptly and service was very nice. Ambiance was pretty unique with the upside down umbrellas, you won't catch this unless you look up since they have pretty high ceilings. Now let's get to the food - Marco's has a decent size menu: they serve breakfast and lunch all day which can be a little worrisome, i feel the quality of food may go down if you offer both breakfast and lunch all day. I started off with the Pompadour coffee: pretty average, when i read the description, i was very excited and was expecting an out of this world coffee. The coffee tasted just okay, there's whipped cream that has cinnamon and cardamom which is a nice touch. I ordered the chilaquiles for my main dish and this was overwhelmingly bland. I had to add plenty of salt and pepper with hot sauce to really get a flavor profile. The salsa complimented the eggs and tortilla and the beans tasted fine. I probably wouldn't order this again. The blintzes - this was probably the best tasting thing I had here today. The sour cream compliments the sweetness of the blintz but if you don't like sour cream, i don't think it's necessary to eat with the blintz. I would consider going to Marco's again only if other breakfast places in the area were packed. I really liked Marco's hospitality and promptness in service but the food was just okay.

Such a gem of a diner in SW Portland! Marco's has an iconic umbrella ceiling for decor and homey menu items to satisfy a craving from any meal. I chose the fruit waffle, which was on their seasonal menu. The fruit was super fresh and perfectly complemented my Belgian waffle with a hearty dollop of fresh cream. Marco's also offers huckleberry syrup with all of their sweet breakfast items, which I highly recommend! It is so good. Overall, our meals were tasty, the coffee was strong, and the service was quick. Great place to stop for breakfast!

Food was absolutely excellent! Really chill place, and great service. Though it does get pretty busy fast in the mornings, so be sure to get there early, or go in later on for brunch. The menu is pretty awesome and has a variety of stuff from breakfast to lunch to dinner. The London Fog here is delicious

There for Father's Day.Food was good. But clearly the staff was there to put plates on a table rather than make the experience anything special. They weren't really interested in going the extra mile and at times seemed almost adversarial.

This is a go to easy place in Multnomah village that has a great espresso bar, cocktails, brunch and lunch. Brunch is sold all day and they have a extensive menu!Service is good - no complaints! They are fast. It is busy, especially on the weekends so make sure to allow enough time for brunch. They have a decent amount of outdoor seating in the warm months, and outside is dog friendly. This location is also super kid friendly-- kids menu,l and crayons.

We tried Marco's on Labor Day and it was quite busy, but luckily we had a reservation and they seated us right away. The restaurant has flare with umbrellas hanging from the ceiling and the service was prompt given how busy it was. However I thought the food was overpriced and frankly not that good. I had the French toast for $14 and a side of bacon for an extra $5. When I got my French toast I was surprised that I didn't quite get a "full slice" of toast. Mostly fruit on the plate.... I certainly felt taken advantage of. I'll include a photo and you can decide if it was worth close to $20. Just to be clear, I had not eaten any of that slice on the right! I could have added an additional "slice" of French toast for $5 but glad I didn't. I won't be back anytime soon...
